Waugaman Village R.V. Park, Healy, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Real quiet and secluded. It is difficult to get a hold of the host so I recommend calling in advance. I have never seen the office open sign lit up. 20 amp electric only. The site looked pretty level. There are laundry facilities. We camped at Waugaman Village R.V. Park in a Travel Trailer.

Denali Rainbow Village & RV Park (Privately Owned), Denali National Park, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A simple gravel parking lot with hookups. The advertised cable hook up did not work. The WiFi was difficult to connect to and if I was lucky enough to get connected; it was at a speed so slow it was nearly unusable. I clocked their internet at an average of 1.2mbs. When I spoke to them about this they admitted that the two 20mbs servers were not enough to support the 80+ sites. They thought that the guest shouldn't be using it so much and didn't think they needed to provide better service. I would leave but they will not refund me for early departure. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. This place will not be able to provide you with all services promised. We camped at Denali Rainbow Village & RV Park (Privately Owned) in a Travel Trailer.

Smith's Green Acres RV Park and Campground, Delta Junction, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Highly recommend this park. The owner takes great care to make sure that the park has clean, level, and well maintained sites. This was my first RV experience and the owner came to the site and gave me pointers and advise on setting up. My family enjoyed shooting hoops in his playground area. The laundry facility was clean and in great shape. We camped at Smith's Green Acres RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Northern Nights RV Campground, Glennallen, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was a lucky pick. The showers were clean, but very busy. I suppose that it was because everyone staying there gets two free showers. The host was very nice. They do provide free hot chocolate and coffee in the morning. I saw a sign there advertising a dessert night, but I was not there long enough to partake in that. I would stay there again. We camped at Northern Nights RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
