North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina, Little River, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

This is a new park with an excellent swimming pool and slide along with spacious concrete pads and a patio at each site. For a private park the site sizes are very generous compared to other parks in the area. There is little shade which is to be expected in a new park. They have entertainment Thursday thru Saturday. You can rent jet skis, pontoon or a jon boat to take you down the intercoastal waterway on which this park sits. We really enjoyed the location as it's outside the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach proper but close to shopping in North Myrtle Beach and points North such as Calabash and Little River. Traffic is much more manageable in this part of the grand strand as well. Wireless is outstanding as is the cable TV. Cell phone reception is strong for AT&T. We camped at North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Big Bone Lick State Park, Union, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at Big Bone Lick as a base camp to attend the Quaker State 400 in nearby Sparta, KY. The girls stayed back at the park and enjoyed the clean swimming pool. Site 11 was level but did require 75 foot of water hose to reach the spigot. Bathrooms were clean and showers as well. This park is at least 10 miles from any gas, restaurants or shopping so bring what you need. We camped at Big Bone Lick State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Oak Hollow Family Campground, High Point, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on site C24 which was one of the most level in the park outside of section B. Restrooms were clean, the pool is small but clean, wireless was very good, Bring extra water and sewer hose as the connections are not conveniently placed. The golf course in the park is very nice and a great value as we reserved and got a special price of $15 with cart. Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by as this is an urban park. We camped at Oak Hollow Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
