Bras D'Or Lakes Campground, Baddeck, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Staff were very unprofessional , restrooms poorly cleaned . On several occasions both male and female were using same facilities . Poor site drainage and little if any concern by staff as to water on sites . No attempts to assist in finding better site. Very high prices in store. WiFi not available as stated. This was the worst run campsite I have been in in over 30 years of camping . I realize there was little could be done about the weather but the owners/staff showed NO consideration for the state of their guests . No attempt to open the rec center for rained out campers. Wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Bras D'Or Lakes Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Graves Island Provincial Park, Chester, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Only complaint is the staff . For Provincial Park they were very unfriendly and spent more time sitting in their own trailer then at the sites . Did keep garbage locked up however ran out of available firewood on a Friday night . Dis not seem concerned. Site has a campground host who is available and were friendly. Great local spots for drives and excursions. Lots of local beauty sites. We camped at Graves Island Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.
