Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is clean and very well kept. The sites are too close together to make this a family friendly RV park. We have a 44 footer and it will only fit one car. If a family visits, they will have to park at the guest parking, which is far away. There is almost literally no room for kids to play. That's why I don't think it's family friendly. The trash cans were far away as well. The CATV reception was fuzzy. I complained and a technician came out with a his own TV and plugged it in outside from the outlet. It worked fine on his TV and he told me that it was a problem with my TV. How can my TV work fine at a RV park the night prior and not work at this park the next day? We checked in another park a week later and my TV worked fine once again. Too much noise: The park is close to a busy road, the Portland air traffic goes right over the park and a train track is right next to the park. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch (formerly Flagg Ranch Resort), Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The park is well treed making it a little tough for parking if you're over 40 ft. The sewer outlet has 2 connections, the bottom and the top. I connected to the bottom near the ground since it is the lowest point. Very dusty since the park does not have asphalt roads. The park does have 'Wi-Fi' , but it's no use even trying, it's very poor. We had to go down to Jackson Lake and use our Verizon hotspot. Be prepared, there is no phone service, need to travel south to Jackson Lake or right into the city of Jackson to get really fast Wi-Fi and decent phone. For the price, I don't think it's worth it, but what can one do when you're traveling a big rig and there are limited opportunities in the area. We camped at Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch (formerly Flagg Ranch Resort) in a Motorhome.

Fort Harrison RV Park (Military FamCamp), Fort William Henry Harrison, MT, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved only one night due to the negative reviews, but after being here, we regret that we didn't stay longer. All the sites have been completely redone. I could tell by the new concrete and the new trees. The sewer and the electric are on the same side. The sites are gravel and they are still not level, but it still was not that bad. The weather was cool and no mosquitoes. No WiFi, but our Verizon hotspot was super fast! Very peaceful with an occasional sound of the trains going by, but not that bad. The fitness is within walking distance. We heard about an issue with a volunteer saying that folks cannot leave pets in their RVs unattended. The front desk told us that's not true and if the volunteer has any problems, tell him to take it up with them. We camped at Fort Harrison RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.
