Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

Outstanding facility with great shade, privacy, and sparkling clean. The employees went out of their way to ensure we were having a great time from homemade ice cream, themed dinners, to an amazing evening with Native American performer who reached my kids in a way that no electronic device ever could.

Site was well shaded, level, spacious, and very easy to get in and out of. I had a flat on the boat I was towing, there was plenty of room to change it without having to rearrange anything.

Great pool area, only knock is they need more showers. If you are going to Zion in an RV, this is your go to spot. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park located on the edge of tourist Cody. It is very clean and well maintained and has an extensive property divided into motorhomes and tents. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained and there are enough to make sure I didn't have to wait. The only drawback is that there was very little personal space, which we have found to be common in campgrounds that are located in cities. We would stay again. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Sundance RV Park and Campground, Coram, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a campground that has a wooded feel where you are not stacked on top of one another, this is the place. Think state park sites with motorhome campground quality bathrooms and showers. The dirt sites each had a campfire ring and there is a small play area for the kids. Laundry and bathrooms are spotless and the camp staff was great. Ice is in the cooler at the front of the park and is an honor system so no having to wait for the office to open. Pet friendly, they even provide kennel services for a fee. A stone's throw from the entrance to Glacier this campground is a great jumping off point for your trip there. We camped at Sundance RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Wild Rose RV Park, Colbert, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We needed a place to stop between Glacier National Park and Seattle and read the reviews of Wild Rose. The campground, indeed Colbert, is out in the middle of nowhere, but still within 10 miles of Spokane. We were greeted three times on our drive into the park and the staff here is among the friendliest, most helpful staffs we have every run into. The site is spotless and while being very pet friendly, there are signs all around the park to clean up after your own pet. ($10 fine for not picking up poo. Like someone said, all parks should do that.) Best part. My wife was griping about the fact that we didn't have any veggies for dinner, and the camp has a community garden where you can pick your own! We were a one night transitory visitor and they led us out to the garden and encouraged us to pick. Had a fresh from the fields spinach salad. Fantastic campground, highly recommended. We camped at Wild Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.
