Paradise Shores RV Park, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here many times in the past few years for an overnighter while enroute to other places. Always find the place clean and friendly. Stayed about a week this time and felt welcomed by the owners and even the seasonal folks who stay most of the summer. If you encounter any problem the owners are right on it. They are at the mercy of the lake water level for access to boat launching. Rest rooms and showers are spotless all the time. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice spot for a quick stop. Don't play golf so can't comment about the facilities. Well spaced spots with grass beside the gravel pads. Very quiet as it is well off the highway. Friendly staff. We camped at Likely Place RV & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Steens Mountain Resort, Frenchglen, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

A real out of the way place but so is the area. You need to travel about 3 miles of washboard gravel road to get there. But its worth it. Management was friendly and helpful. Sites were a bit rough but spaced nicely apart. Its a dry place but next to the game refuge that includes many wet areas. A great place to stay while hunting up that rare bird to photograph. Be prepared to get good and dusty. We camped at Steens Mountain Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Sumpter Pines RV Park, Sumpter, Oregon

Overall Rating:

We stayed here a week and found it very relaxing, clean and quiet. The shade was wonderful along with the deer that roamed through the sites almost every day. The owners, Dan and Nan Martin, will make your stay enjoyable. We will stay again when we are in the Sumpter area. We camped at Sumpter Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
