Beantown Campground, Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I would agree with past posts. Great Wi-Fi and wide open for satellites. The pool is very nice as is the patio, lots of good chairs. Very clean. The negatives would be no views of any kind. The road is unpaved and a bit dusty. The grounds could be spruced up a bit. However, great location, we preferred it to the other side of the peninsula. Only a 10 minute drive across to Egg Harbor. We stayed here for a week. Would return. We camped at Beantown Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Caledonia, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

This is a theme park surrounded by a large campground. Cabins to tents. It's fantastic for kids under the age of 14, there are kids and families all over the place. And they do add a premium for their services and are a bit stringent with rules and regulations. But there really is a lot of stuff going on. We camped here with no kids and still didn't mind paying the premium. My complaint would be is that they are deep in the woods and do not provide cable TV. This is a real problem with me. With what campgrounds like this charge today they should spend the money for cable. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Campers Cove RV Park & Canoe Livery, Alpena, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed this campground. Surrounded by a beautiful lake, lots of swimming and boating. Nice large layout. Owners were excellent. A bit tight for larger coaches but doable. Only a handful of 50 amp sites. We would certainly return. We camped at Campers Cove RV Park & Canoe Livery in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging, Niagara Falls, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

This was the only campground available for the July 4th weekend. I read the reviews and wanted to avoid it but had no choice. This was the biggest rip off price wise of all the campgrounds we have stayed at in 24 states and counting. As stated by other reviews the owner could be a bit friendlier. The grounds were small and tight. If not for Niagara Falls this campground would be about $25 a day. Location, location. Avoid unless all others are full. We will never return. We camped at Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging in a Motorhome.

Alps Family Campground, Averill Park, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

NOT for big rigs. Tight getting around, dirty electric. We had to run our generator. Owner was very nice but this campground is really for small units. Great for kids, lots of events going on for them.I would avoid if you are over 36ft. We camped at Alps Family Campground in a Motorhome.
