Pinch Pond Family Campground & RV Park, Manheim, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Spent 3 days here. Overall good layout of the CG. Site is pull-through and easy to access. Place to park tow vehicle. Staff is friendly. The CG is well maintained. great proximity to Amish country/Lancaster. Nice views of woods. Only negative, which there is nothing that can be done about, is the noise from the PA Turnpike. Most of the time it's just a low droning noise. Occasionally, there is a loud truck. Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. We camped at Pinch Pond Family Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Our 2nd time staying there. Lots of 'permanent' residents but for those of us coming in for a short term stay, the sites were easy to access and level. The CG is GREAT when traveling either north or south on I-295 through the Philly area. Reservations were easy to make. No real ambiance but that was OK based on we were only there for 3 nights and just slept in the camper. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Fairfax Park, Reston, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Part of the Fairfax County Park system. Clean CG, clean bath house, good spacing between sites, other county park amenities (water park open in the summer, paddle boats on the lake, soccer and ball fields. CG store is limited in offerings. Grocery and Home Depot are within 10 minutes. Quite even though in the middle of Fairfax county. Good location for getting to DC for sightseeing. We camped at Lake Fairfax Park in a Travel Trailer.
