River Town Campground, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were pretty level and more spacious than many other RV parks. There were quite a few permanents here, but their sites were well maintained and clean. Only complaint was all hookups were located at rear of site. We would stay here again. We camped at River Town Campground in a Motorhome.

Askew's Landing Campground, Edwards, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

More of a "fish" camp and full of campers, than an RV park. A long 2 1/2 drive on a very narrow road culminating in a single lane gravel road around a beautiful lake to the office. Sites are in a field or among the trees and are on grass. I would not stay again. We camped at Askew's Landing Campground in a Motorhome.

Wagon Train RV Park, Canton, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great park just off of I-20. Nice pull-thru's easy to use. Great WIFI. The only complaint is the sewer connection is to the rear of the site. Very nice owner. No shade, but a plus for satellite reception. Will put on our list of definitely staying again. We camped at Wagon Train RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sky Ute Casino RV Park, Ignacio, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

As stated by others, a very nice park. The park host met us as we drove in, assigned and led us to our site, then drove us in golf cart to casino for registration and to show us around. Very nice. We camped at Sky Ute Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coyote Keeth's RV Park, Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy here, but if you want clean, level, pull-throughs right next to the highway, this is the place for you. Easy in and out, very level and you can commune with the cows next door. No amenities, just electric 30/50, water, and sewer. We camped at Coyote Keeth's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA), Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park has fallen into disrepair from what others have posted. Roads were deeply rutted from a lot of rain. Sites were grass and not very level and looked too soft to use levelers. We opted not to stay after rocking our rig driving on the interior roads. Lady at front office was very nice and refunded our $30 with no problems. We camped at Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA) in a Motorhome.

Antique Village RV Park, Simsboro, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A tight campground in the middle of the woods. Dusty narrow roads, strange layout for the sites, only 4 OTA TV stations, (doubt if you can get your satellite to work from very many of the sites). Expensive for what you get. The lady was very nice when we called for reservations. Would not stay here again. We camped at Antique Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Trailer Ranch RV Resort - Santa Fe, NM What a hidden gem in the city! Came here on the recommendation of friends and found a quaint, clean, roomy RV park. Sites were spacious and on concrete pads. Most sites were back in's, but you are led to the site by Carlos who is very good at directing you into your site making it a very painless process. Although you are next to a very busy street, an adobe wall separates you and keeps road noise to a minimum. Contrary to what I've read elsewhere, they are pet friendly, they are just very protective of their grass, so the pet walk is on gravel and they insist that you do not allow your dog to urinate on their grass. Our dog adjusted to the gravel with no problem We stayed in a motor home and would stay here again. May 2016. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

A/OK RV Park, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

A/OK RV Park in Green River, UT. An older park, but all the sites are level and fairly roomy. Apparently it used to be a KOA, but has changed hands and is now an independent park. The pull-thru sites are all 30 amp, but if it's not too hot that should work for most rigs. If you require 50 amp, they are all back in sites. The owner is a hard working young lady that has a positive attitude and tries her best to accommodate your needs. Sites were long enough for our 36' motorhome with toad. No cable but you should be able to get satellite with no problem. OTR gave us 29 stations. We will stay here again when travelling through the area. It is also a Passport America park so if a member you can save some money. We camped at A/OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overnite RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This has more of a campground feel to it rather than an RV Park. Has a lot of potential, but the owners need to do more maintenance, i.e. mowing grass, trimming trees, etc. On a positive note, the site we stayed in was very level and of sufficient length for our 36' MH with Toad. Very pet friendly, although it appears some pet owners had taken advantage of this and hadn't picked up after their pets. Price was a little high for what you got, but it is very convenient to I-40 and the loop that goes around Amarillo on the east side. Probably would stay again for a day or two, but any longer and we would try to get into Amarillo RV Ranch. We camped at Overnite RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are an RV'er and I assume you are or you wouldn't see this, you must go see the RV Museum. A fun place where you can see beautifully restored vintage RVs and see just how far we've come. Just google RV Museum in Amarillo and it will pop up. (see what I did there. LOL)

Bar J Hitchin Post RV, Sweetwater, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are spacious and well designed. The office/bathrooms/laundry were some of the best I've ever seen. The staff was extremely nice as we checked in and then led us to our site. Sites are terraced to provide a pretty level area. It is a new park therefore doesn't have many amenities, but for an overnight it is more than adequate. We would stay here again. We camped at Bar J Hitchin Post RV in a Motorhome.

Palisades Senior RV Park (55+ park), Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Just wanted to update with a more recent review. We stayed here 10 days and absolutely love this park. Very clean and spacious areas. Camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. Also, the early morning Remote Control Aircraft flyers were fun to watch. A lot of to do in the area. 10 days just isn't enough and we will return next year! We camped at Palisades Senior RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Too many to list, but the highlights would be Crested Butte and surrounding areas (if you jeep a ride to Tin Cup to eat at Frenchy's is highly recommended). Also, not to be forgotten the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is probably one of the best and least visited parks in the NP system.

Ozark / Fort Rucker KOA, Ozark, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

After a long day of driving in rain/fog, this RV park was a godsend. Extremely helpful staff advised us on how to avoid the worse traffic in Montgomery as we headed south in a blinding rainstorm. Sites are well laid out. Our site was extremely roomy and long enough for us to not need to unhook our toad. Good cable and WiFi. We will stay here again when we are in the area. We camped at Ozark / Fort Rucker KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night and was very impressed. Very friendly owner and staff led us to our site. Very hilly ground, but sites were terraced nicely and it was no problem leveling at all. Would stay again. Did not see Elvis's ghost. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Toad Suck Campground COE, Conway, Arkansas

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park that we always stay in when visiting family in Conway. As stated in one of the other reviews, some of the sites next to the river are better suited for tents than RV's. That being said, there are some wonderful views of the Arkansas River and the lock and damn system. We enjoy watching the barges manipulate the lock system. Good electric and water and easily accessible dump station. Will always stay here when in the area. We camped at Toad Suck Campground COE in a Motorhome.
