St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park, St. Albert, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here a few other times in past years, but usually for no more than a week. This year we decided to spend a month in Edmonton. This is a nice campground with limited amenities, but its location close to Edmonton is a plus. Well maintain and generally good Wifi. (It was actually down for a couple of days, but since we were staying a month it was too much of an inconvenience. It was down over the weekend so someone just here for the weekend would have probably annoyed.) Nice clean restrooms and showers, but no laundry. Nice walking and biking trails nearby. Good paved interior roads. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eiling Kramer Campground, Battleford, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice city Campground. Even had Wifi that worked at our site. There were new showers and restrooms that were well maintained. The showers didn't require extra payment to use. The sites were very large. The only inconvenience was that the water hook up was over 50' away. Luckily I carry two 35' hoses. Directions to the campground were not well displayed along the road. Had to call to make sure we were going the right way. We camped at Eiling Kramer Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Timberline Campground, Waukee, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

For the price it was a little disappointing. Had a shared site with the next RV very close. The showers at the office were very small and awkward to use. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort), Winnipeg, Manitoba

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park has the potential to be very nice, but there doesn't seem to be much attention paid to maintaining and improving roads, sites, rest rooms, etc. Nice spacious sites. Convenient access and easy to find right of the Loop Highway around Winnipeg. Also pleasantly surprised that my portable satellite dish worked. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

West Eagle Campground , West Kelowna, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A very average campground. Has rather weak 30 amp electric service. Couldn't run much else if we had our A/C on. Shortly after we got here the Wi-Fi would only work at the office. After about a week they got it fixed. Our site is fairly level where the our 5th wheel sits, but the area outside where seating is has a severe slope. We had to prop the picnic bench up about 6" to use it. There is no cable TV and for some reason you can't get local stations on the antenna even though we are in town. Also my pet peeve is pay showers. We camped at West Eagle Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Glowing Embers RV Park, Edmonton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times in the past years. It is pretty much an OK RV park, but their claim of Wi-Fi should say "occasionally". They kept saying they were working on it. The other problem is not the direct responsibility of the RV park, but we had very poor cell phone reception. Every time we checked our phones it kept switching between "Leaving Service Area" and "Entering Service Area". This made making calls difficult plus our batteries had trouble lasting 24 hr. We camped at Glowing Embers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
