Have been here several times in recent years. Each time is a better experience. They do offer "premier" sites that have patios, table, chairs and umbrella with a gas grill, on each end of the rows. Those on the far end are located on the opposite side of the RV. Earlier this year, they paved all the roads in the park. This was a great change from the dust that used to come from the roads. We arrived after hours and our site assignment was on the board. Driving down to the site, we found someone else already on the site and had been there for some time. The adjacent site was empty so we drove back to the office to confirm no one else was scheduled to arrive that evening for that site. We set up and checked in with the office in the morning to inform them of the error. They offer a huge "Hippo slide" for kids and family at an additional cost. The pool is of descent side but can get crowded easily on warm day. A clock in this area would be a great addition. New playground equipment too. The road leading into the park is very narrow from the main road, and if you dont look closely, you could easily drive by.

We had made our reservations in February, as we would be meeting other family members coming from Connecticut. Even in February, it took several calls to get our sites together. Sites had to be paid in full at time of registration. Upon arriving, we encounter an access gate about 1/2 way into the parking lot, with cars parked on each side. A sign telling you not to block the gate while registering. So we pulled to the side. With our 35 ft trailer and Crew cab truck, this blocked several cars. If your going to be out after 9 PM, they will issue you an access card, otherwise, you just show your registration paperwork and someone in the office will open the gate for you. They do offer "Late arrival Hookups" on each side of the gate, yet I'm not sure how you would get on the other side of the gate after hours if no one is in the office? While this campground does offer a Good Sam discount, I was informed they only honor it Sunday - Thursday as they are not a Good Sam Park. Pulling around to our site, we passed a trash dumpster with a sign, "Kitchen Trash Only - Your On Camera". We had a back-in site in the woods and it took several attempts to get in our spot due to large rocks that line the streets. No on-site trash pick up. Looked for recycling bins, and only found two the size of regular trash cans. For a campground of 350+ sites, you would expect better recycling options. The campground offers several activities, but no weekend timeline was provided with check in. I can't comment on the restrooms as we did not use them. They offer cable TV, but when I scanned channels, several of them came in so snowy, it was like using the old fashion rabbit ears. My sisters camping on a site near by experienced the same condition. If arriving from the PA turnpike, fuel up after you exit. There are no gas stations along the route leading into the campground. Campground is big, so plenty of golf carts cruising around. On my last day, I found out that free coffee and newspaper are offered each morning in the Cafe..Little late...
