Aurora RV Park and Marina, Nice, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped at this park on our way home from the redwoods. The man who checked us in was very nice and since there was only one other RV there, he let us park at the end spot along the lake even though our rig is 35 ft. The site was concrete, level and shaded by some large trees. These sites are so narrow I doubt if you could even put your slideouts out if there was someone next to you. There are pull thru sites across the street that have more room between sites. If it is not 100+ degrees, the sites across the street would be ok, there is just very little shade. It was fine for an overnight stay. We camped at Aurora RV Park and Marina in a Motorhome.

Oroville Feather Falls Casino KOA, Oroville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $65.00

Nice park. Only a few shaded spots. Long pull-throughs. Pool has shaded canopies to sit under and a grassy area. We always stay here when in the area. We camped at Oroville Feather Falls Casino KOA in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa RV Resort, Lotus, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

When I made the reservation at this park I was told we had a pull-through with w/e/sewer. When we arrived we were told to drive through the park and pick a sight (a few back-ins were available) and that all sites with sewers were taken. We have a 35' with a tow. The roads were so narrow, filled with huge holes, steep hills and sharp turns that we drove through and left this park. We camped at Ponderosa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, clean park. Not really any shade. We were escorted to our site by a very nice man. The only drawback to this park is getting there. The pavement ends and it is a dirt road for quite a ways, so the rig behind us was fully covered in dust. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Devils Tower KOA, Devils Tower, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only campground so close to the Devils Tower so we stayed here. The sites were OK but we had a very wide deep hole next to us with no tape or fencing around it, so it was an accident waiting to happen. There was no soap or even a dispenser in the restrooms. No toilet paper at all in the men's restroom. Three of the 7 showers had no lights (but plenty of spiders). One had no shower curtain and the one I used, the shower curtain fell down while I was in there. We would not stay here again. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Motorhome.
