Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great weekend camping here. We were on site 79 and we were really close to the water. It was sandy on the shore so it was easy to walk to the water. The sites on either side of us had rocks by the shore. It was pretty warm with the afternoon sun but the sunsets were nice. Lots of people tie their boats up at the sites. We had nice trees separating the sites. We camped at R Shaefer Heard COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Bolding Mill COE, Gainesville, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We just spent the weekend here. We thought it was a really nice park with large sites and beautiful lake views. The camp hosts were wonderful. We enjoyed floating in the lake right at our campsite. The park is beautiful with a lot of green grass. We rode our bikes around the whole campground a lot because it's not too hilly. We are hoping they start keeping the park open longer. They could cut back some of the small trees at some of the camp sites so that you can see the lake better. I strongly recommend this park. We camped at Bolding Mill COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park and great waterfront large sites. We like to hike in Red Top Mountain State Park and it's really close by. We choose to camp here for the lakefront views. We camped at McKinney Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.
