The Palms River Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Daily rate is average for a monthly stay of $359.00 which does not include electricity. Our second and last monthly stay in this park. Park has a lot of good amenities and friendly people but major dog barking problem with the biggest offenders being park staff. There is also a laundry facility between space 33 & 35 that people start using early am to late evening. We camped at The Palms River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Palms River Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Large RV Park on Colorado River which is mostly park model homes. Current spots are eventually becoming park models as well but more RV sites are to be built in future. Great park, with very nice amenities, pool, game room, activities etc. Stayed for a month and enjoyed park. There are a lot of ATV's around on weekends as park is across street from desert riding area. We camped at The Palms River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Heritage RV Park, Corning, California

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very difficult park to locate even as you are driving past the entrance. Main sign is way up on top of a steel pole. A couple of smaller signs are located at entrance but park is behind a Subway shop and strip mall so signage disappears into background. Spots are adequate but due to where water & power outlets are located they are tough to get into for large rigs. Actual RV footprint parking is narrow and trees complicate life getting into and out of area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sommerville Almond Tree RV Park, Coalinga, California

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Just off I-5 freeway but shielded by enough trees we really did not notice freeway. Also close to semi truck fueling station but again no real noise issue. Nothing fancy just a basic RV park. We camped at Sommerville Almond Tree RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Billings Village RV Park, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Best bang for the buck in the Billings area. Having said that spaces are close in and a metro setting but overall the park is very well maintained with mature vegetation. Close to I-90 and city roads but still pretty quiet at night. Nice pad for tow vehicle next to main unit. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed at this park off and on for years just due to limited RV park availability in area. They have made a few improvements to the main pull through sites but have jacked up the price to where it is ridiculous for what you get. $56 for power & water as well as neighbors so close you can hear each other breathing at night. Only three real choices in the area but you can do better for your money. Done with it forever! We camped at Billings KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Peaceful Pines RV Park, Cheney, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A little off the beaten path from I-90 but clean and quiet. Occasional train but not bad. Small park, new management. Tight sites but OK for short stays. We camped at Peaceful Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
