Greenfield Campground & Cabins, West Jefferson, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park and convenient. Not many open sites since most sites are being used by permanent campers. Utilities were very good. Our site was not level but we were able to lever using our jacks and no boards. :Park is clean and kept up well. Wifi worked well except at night when many people were on it. TV reception is poor with only a ferw channels available and we could not find any national channels except PBS. We would stay here again. We camped at Greenfield Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park that we've stayed at before. Convenient to rt 95 and good roads to the park and in the park. Very clean park with a nice pool, although we did not use it. All pull through sites with picnic tables and full hook ups. Wifi worked good at our site and there are very few trees so satellite worked good. Cable has local channels and some cable channels. We definitely will stay here again. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 2nd stop at this park. It is convenient to rt 295. The park is clean and roads are good. Ther staff was friendly and helpful. I gave this park an average rating due to the cost. $54.00 is very expensive for an overnight stop. Wifi only works at the office. Water and electric worked OK. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Motorhome.

Century Farm Family Campground, St. Martins, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This a is wonderful park right on the Bay of Fundy. Park is clean, well managed, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The cost above was Canadian dollars and includes taxes. The road in (rt 111) which is about 20 miles is not the best in the world. About 1/3 good road, 1/3 acceptable road, and 1/3 bad road. We took it slow on the bad road and it was OK. Interior roads are good. Sites are close but not bad and are long. Wifi worked good compared to many parks we've been in. A little slow when the park is full but acceptable. Verizon worked well as did Directv. We were here for 4 nights with a full hook up. 30 amp power only but good steady power. Scenery is beautiful and we were able to walk along the beach right at the park. Park is very quiet during quiet hours. Sites are grass and well maintained. we stayed here in a motorhome and would definitely go back here again. We camped at Century Farm Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the Fundy Turnpike which is about 10 minutes from the RV park. A very nice drive with lots of places to stop and walk or just take pictures. Only a 12-13 mile drive but well worth the money.

Baker River Campground, Rumney, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice quiet family oriented park. Lots of tents and trailers but very quiet at night. Roads are OK but not great. Lots of low branches for motorhomes. Site was good with 50 amp and water. Dump station is convenient and clean. No wifi and we could not find any TV stations even on our antenna. Verizon hotspot worked well. Office staff was very nice and actually came out while we were at the dump station to see if we had any issues with our stay. I explained that our only issue was some low hanging branches for our motorhome. The manager stated that she would have the trimming service that they contact with raise the limbs although to be honest there are not a lot of motorhome site available at this park. We stayed here in a motorhome and would stay again. We camped at Baker River Campground in a Motorhome.

Canandaigua / Rochester KOA, Farmington, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is a typical KOA park. Very neat and clean with lots of activities especially for children. The park was very quiet especially at night. The wifi worked well most of the time. My only issue with this park is the cost. Our site was a back in with electrical service only and it was $47 per night which I found excessive but since we were visiting friends in the park we paid the price. Other than the price this is a very nice park. I doubt we would stay here again. We camped at Canandaigua / Rochester KOA in a Motorhome.

Three Valley Resort, Holland, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as a Coast to Coast member. I agree with most of what the previous review said from 5 years ago. I think they have improved some things. They now give you a map to your site, they have a security group that patrols the park and was helpful finding our site. Our site was number 44 and was fairly close to the entrance. Our site was fairly level and clean. The interior roads are poor and the road to the dump station is the worst of them all. We did not even go to the dump station because of the road condition. We stayed three nights including a weekend and except for the barking dogs during the day the park was fine. Seems like a lot of people leave their RV there and just come up for the weekend and have lots of fires and gatherings but it was quiet and very little road noise. We would stay here again. We camped at Three Valley Resort in a Motorhome.

Caboose Lake Campground, Remington, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This has got to be one of the worst parks we have ever stayed in during our 18 years of RVing. The interior roads are very bad with lots, and lots, and lots of potholes. The road noise is so loud you can hardly talk over it. The wifi is useless, at least at our site, and all this for $41.00 with a Good Sam discount. The sites are close together. Our site was clean and the water and electric worked fine. The office staff was nice and check in was very easy.

We normally do not park at Walmart, although we have on occasion, but RV parks like this one make me think twice about parking at Walmart. If you're going to charge $45 before discount, at least pave your roads and update your wifi so I can at least work on my computer while I cannot sleep from the road noise. Needless to say we would not stay here again. We camped at Caboose Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Interstate RV Park, Davenport, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night and I agree with previous comment. Convenient to I-80 and Flying J. Staff was very nice. The new Wifi worked great. It took a bit to understand how to connect to it but once I did that it worked very well and certainly better than many parks we have visited on this trip. Park was quiet and clean. Sites were a little tight but acceptable. We would stay here again. We camped at Interstate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Town & Country RV Park and Campground, Savage, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for one night. Staff was very nice and helpful. Park was clean and well maintained. Wifi was pretty much useless and we were right next to the office. Sites were small but clean and park was quiet. I would probably try to find a less expensive park in the future especially since our site was water and electric only and the wifi was so bad. We camped at Town & Country RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very convenient to I-94. Full hookup, excellent wifi, nice pull through sites, level and clean. Roads are good. Do not let the lack of an on site attendant discourage you. This is a well managed park. We would stay here again. We camped at A Prairie Breeze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rushmore Shadows RV Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

I would have given this park a much higher rating if the WiFi worked better. As is the case with most RV parks we've been visiting the Wifi here only worked on occasion and then it was very slow. Other than that this is a very nice park and convenient to most of the attractions in this area. Showers and restrooms are clean. We camped at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

As with previous comments, this is a very nice park. Sites are level, clean, and park is kept up very well. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Electric is good and water is OK although very soft. Our only issue with this park was the WiFi, which was terrible. We were traveling with friends so we were in two areas of the park and at both sites the WiFi was almost useless even for email and surfing the Internet. The only other issue was the road coming to the park which has a 300 foot unpaved area that is rough so drive slow and careful. We would stay here again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is our 4th stay at this park. The park is clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All utilities are good except the wifi. Wifi is very poor and in most cases was not usable. Very unfortunate because other than the wifi this is a very nice park and convenient to attractions in Deer Lodge and a couple of scenic routes to drive. I would have given this park a much higher rating if the wifi worked better. we would stay here again. Directv and Verizon work well. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Grant Kohrs ranch is wonderful and the Montana Prison Museum is a good place to visit. We also drove a couple of scenic routes in the area that were very nice. We drove to Virginia City and Nevada City but they were fairly long drives.
