Well, we just paid $80 for one night at this "resort" (2 people + 2 dogs) the most we've ever paid for a site in 2 years on the road. This begs the question - what makes an "RV resort" different from a gravel parking lot sandwiched between the freeway and the railroad tracks? Amenities! Unfortunately, when we arrived on Labor Day at 430 pm, there was literally no staff on site. No restaurant, no bar, no office, no host, no zipline, no raftng...no one! The campsite is small, gravel, dirty, trash in the bushes, dog poo etc. The next day the office person gave us no discount despite the fact that nothing advertised on their website was open. There are only 2 things that save this place at all - the CDOT bike trail is awesome, and the hike up No Name Creek cannot be beat. Both of these attractions are accessible from the FREE parking 100' from the "resort." Never again, there are better alternatives in this area.

Great park on the river with some view sites. The steam train passes through the park six times a day to great fanfare. If you miss the turn, go around the block to avoid a tight u turn. There is very little dog walking in the area. The free shuttle goes to town three times per hour.

Lakefront campsites though the water level is way down. Great overnight stop close to I-40. Excellent dog walking area.

Large gravel parking lot with back in sites around the perimeter and pull through in the middle. Good bus service to old town but it doesn't run late. Good dog walking in the area. Not much privacy.
