Bud's RV Park (formerly Bud's Campground Grocery), Gearhart, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park but extremely well kept up. The owner works daily on keeping her beautiful flowers well tended. They add much to the park. The spaces are very easy to get into and plenty of space for your vehicle. There is a fairly well stocked store on site as well. My only complaint is it's right on 101 so traffic noise is a bit much. We're sound sleepers so it didn't bother us at night. All and all this is a good choice. We camped at Bud's RV Park (formerly Bud's Campground Grocery) in a Fifth Wheel.

Bastendorff Beach County Park, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice private sites. No sewer but a dump station. Close to Charleston. Don't look for anybody at the "guard shack" at the entrance. Hasn't been anybody there for years. We made reservations ahead of time on line, but when we arrived I couldn't figure out how to check in. Finally found the park host site but nobody there either, so I just went to my site and hooked up. Nobody ever came by to check with us. We camped at Bastendorff Beach County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

When arriving off of 101 north use the website directions and not the GPS. Much easier to get here going thru Coos Bay.

iRVin's RV Park and Campground, Valemount, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very spacious and level and are all pull thrus. This is a relatively new park so the trees don't offer any shade at this time. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. The wi-fi doesn't work very well unless you are literally next to antenna which is on top of the office. Several of us were standing next to the covered pavilion so we could get connected. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to friends. We camped at iRVin's RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Canoe River Campground, Valemount, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved a river side space a month in advance but upon our arrival the site was still be occupied by somebody at the mud bog races and it was clear they weren't leaving anytime soon. After driving around the park a couple of times I found the park to be pretty rough and very dusty. This park is mainly for 4 wheelers and that type of activity. Many of the sites had the hook ups on the right side of the site and not usable by me. We moved on to Irvins just down the road which is much nicer. We camped at Canoe River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Gilgal Oasis RV Park, Sequim, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $37.00

Although the sites are closely bunched they are all paved and fairly level. Very clean park full of newer rigs. Great showers and restrooms as well as laundry facilities. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
