St. Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA, Eureka, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms/showers were very clean. The pool was large and nice. The sites were large enough to fit our tow vehicle into. They had plenty of evening activities to do after some sightseeing during the day. The campground is very close to Six Flags, although we did not check it out. We would stay here again. We camped at St. Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rock Port / RiversEdge Campground , Rock Port, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are very friendly and helpful. This campground was a great place to stop for the night. The restrooms are being remodeled, so they were not very comfortable. The setting is very quiet and peaceful. If the restrooms were better, we would have rated it higher. They have a pool and some playground equipment. We camped at Rock Port / RiversEdge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was a great stop-off on our way home from Mt. Rushmore. They have a pool and a small playground. The restrooms/showers were in need of a little freshening up, but functional. The laundry was nice. We really just enjoyed the peace and quiet here. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We camped at Area's Finest Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Rapid City KOA, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground. We would have rated it a 9 or 10, but we were not put in a deluxe site we had reserved. The staff puts on a great pancake breakfast every morning and the pool is large and clean. This is a great location for sightseeing around the Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore area. The sites are large enough to park your tow vehicle with room to spare. The laundry facilities are clean. The showers/restrooms are clean as well. We camped at Rapid City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The staff were very friendly during our stay. The pool was nice and the shower/restroom facilities were clean. Our site (spot 33) was long enough to accommodate our trailer and out tow vehicle. We camped at Rock Island KOA in a Travel Trailer.
