We were seeking a campsite near the Kabetogama lake and visitor center in Voyageurs National Park and found this. We called and inquired and the owner said, "Sure, we have a spot for you." Being the peak season in early August we were thrilled. The last site and we snugged in just fine. Level enough, with full hookups. Husband and wife have owned this resort for the past 13 years and most of the folks we met are regular customers. Most of the sites are either cabins or park model units owned privately on the rented space, but there are a few sites for RV's or trailers. We were not right on the water but had a short walk down to the docks. Homey, relaxed atmosphere with no frills. Families abound here. Warning to Verizon users, only AT&T works here both data and cell 4G. We would return.

We needed a place to stay after driving east from Seattle and saw this campsite as an opportunity to get away from the freeway traffic noise. Originally we were set to camp in an electric site but, after looking around elected to stay on the grass in the middle away from other campers so as to get a little more privacy. Campsites spaced close together. Manager quite nice when we arrived but caution to any big rigs that the turn by the office is tight. Unhook at the gas station before you enter the park. Large fifth wheels might be a tight fit. Campground itself has plenty of room for big rigs or 5th wheels if you can negotiate the 165 degree turn.
