Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean, mostly quiet park. There are several trains a night but they are a good ways away and did not really bother us. They have an efficient, friendly staff and the place is well set up and well maintained. We stayed for three nights to explore and will gladly stay here again! We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coyote Run RV Park, Connell, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is very handy, right off Hwy 395. The place is clean and the staff friendly. We wanted to stay out of the Tri Cities area and we are glad we did! We camped at Coyote Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort), Challis, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This was originally a park for modulars so the spaces are "spacious" with lots of room between. There are no trees yet which is good for satellite dishes. The managers are friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of the two grocery stores. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

To find the place, turn at the Jones and Casey Funeral Home modular, near the Stinker Station. We visited Challis Hot Springs about 7 miles from town. There is a more expensive RV Park there which looked nice.

Saguaro RV Park, Jackpot, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

A nice clean park but no picnic table or wifi (we were in Space 42 in the lower area). Our "pull through" was only if someone didn't camp in front of us in Space 41! So far its fine but set up strange. Access to pool and close to casino. Were promised 50 amp service but on arrival found they have only 30 amp! We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Valley View RV Park, Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in Space 59 for two weeks and it was OK--lots of folks in and out but mostly quiet despite being right off Hwy 93 about a mile north of Ely. One problem was that the lawn sprinkler system remained broken and made a muddy mess around our door despite the fact that they had folks doing a good job of mowing and weed eating. The office is seldom open but that was OK with us as lots of services are available back in town. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Bragg Leisure Time RV Park, Fort Bragg, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is just off Hwy 20, about two miles from junction of Hwy 20 and Hwy 101. It comes up fast if you are coming in from Willletts. If you see the firewood place on the left, you have missed it and turning around anytime soon (especially if you are towing a dingy) can be problematic! The park has mostly longer term folks, but we stayed a week to explore the area and it was fine. Office folks are efficient and helpful and the showers and laundry facility are kept clean. They have room to park your boat and a facility on which to clean your fish, but I have not figured out what to do with the fish guts! There is only power and water. (No septic unless you happen to get or request that at a long term site.) There is a place to dump as you leave. There are also sites for tents. We camped at Fort Bragg Leisure Time RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Glass Beach is nice to visit. Guest House Museum in mid town is a must for history buffs. Community Center is on Maple St, but check the handouts for hours, cost, etc. Mendocino is only seven miles south, with lots of shops and this month the musical festival. (We got to listen in on a rehearsal.) There are a number of good places to eat.

Century II Campground & RV Park, Salmon, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice grassy spots, clean showers and restrooms, congenial, helpful host, within walking distance to great eating spots and downtown Salmon. The best spot in Salmon, in our opinion. We camped at Century II Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you stay here, it is an easy walk to downtown Salmon. Be sure to stop in at the Oddfellow's Bakery (so called because it is in that old lodge building); the infamous Owl Club (which is now non-smoking!) which has live entertainment on Tuesday evenings during the summer. For a further walk or a dingy trip, the burgers and ice cream at the Savage Circle on Hwy 93 south is very good.
