Country Boy RV Park, Madison, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nicely landscaped and maintained park. Many of the sites were for permanents but the sites left for overnighters were fine. We appreciated the Veteran's $5.00 discount. We stayed there in a 40' Fifth Wheel and would stay there again. Quiet park other than a bit of road noise. We camped at Country Boy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Paradise Lake RV Park, Enigma, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The main road in and out of park was rough. The campground hosts were very helpful in escorting us to our site. The owner checked on us the day we pulled out. All staff is very friendly and helpful. Water pressure was great. We seldom use campground restrooms and showers so we didn't miss the absence of same and, by the same token, don't travel with children so didn't miss absence of playground. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Paradise Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Brookwood RV Resort, Ticonderoga, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights in our 40' Fifth Wheel. We were delayed by a day from our original reservation due to diesel engine issues but owner graciously accommodated our date change. Owner guided us to our site which was level. We had great Verizon cell signal so opted to use our own device as a hotspot. We camped at Brookwood RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Crazy Acres CG at Beaver Spring Lake (formerly Beaver Spring Lake CG), Davenport, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is now called Crazy Acres Campground at Beaver Spring Lake-new owners. We stayed overnight in our 40' Fifth Wheel in an area that hadn't been mowed yet, designated for Passport America discount sites. It is well off the beaten path. Very quiet and a nice campground overall. The free wifi was better than any in recent memory. No over the air tv signal but Verizon cell signal was just fine. We camped at Crazy Acres CG at Beaver Spring Lake (formerly Beaver Spring Lake CG) in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages, Pine Grove, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights in our 40' Fifth Wheel. The wait to check-in was a bit long, only one staff person answering the phone and checking people in. The park was very nice, lots of area to walk, and accommodated our unexpected 2nd night stay very graciously due to diesel engine issues. We would absolutely stay there again. We camped at Twin Grove RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Glen Maury Park, Buena Vista, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had planned to stay 2 nights in a full hookup site. When we arrived, the office was closed for the weekend, there was no information about where the full hookup sites were. We pulled our 40' fifth wheel up into an area where full hookups were supposed to be. The sewer hookup on the only site that might have accommodated our unit was buried in mud. The interior roads were very narrow and partially blocked by other trailers. We never found the dump station. The water and electricity only camping in the meadow below was very water-logged. Not the place to stay after a long day of driving. We left to stay elsewhere. We camped at Glen Maury Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Towns Bluff RV Park and Heritage Center, Hazlehurst, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight in a back-in site with our 40' fifth wheel. There were a number of half-moon shaped pull-thru's available but we opted for the back-in site for our size unit. The camp host was friendly and accommodating to our switching sites from a pull-thru to a back-in. We would definitely stay there again, it looked like a very nice park. Tuxbury Pond RV Resort, South Hampton, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 42' rig. When we reserved our stay we requested a large site. When we arrived, we were assigned a site that was small and we could not have used our back stabilizer jacks because of the hill drop-off. They did accommodate us and give us a wonderfully large site (begrudgingly). It is a fairly nice park with the majority reserved for seasonals. As soon as it got a bit dark, the mosquitoes came out by literally the millions, it was amazing. We used our ReadyCampGo card and Thousand Trails membership to pay the $33/night rate. Probably wouldn't go back, staff not overly friendly. We camped at Tuxbury Pond RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Moody Beach RV Campground, Wells, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

We are Thousand Trails members and so we only had to pay the $3/nightly resort rate. The availability of 50 amp sites is non-existent; the seasonals are occupying all of those sites. It is a first-come, first-served park so we arrived with our 42' fifth wheel expecting to get the 50 amp that we requested and a large site. We saw many small RVs in large sites and there was one site that would accommodate our size rig. It was challenging to navigate through the abundance of trees to have room to get our slides out. Since we were on 30 amp, it was good that we were pretty well shaded but the downside to that is that we now have pine sap all over our truck and fifth wheel. In essence, it is a nice park but we probably wouldn't go back as we've stayed in more accommodating parks for our size rig. We camped at Moody Beach RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunset Point Campground, Harrington, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in our 42' RV in a 50 amp pull-through site with no sewer hookup. They pumped our holding tanks at no extra charge and were surprised that we only requested that once. Very nice campground and management. Grounds well kept. Little bit buggy at night and after rains. Not too much TV antenna reception but would stay there again. Wi-Fi signal great. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
