Salina KOA, Salina, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground hosts! We were so happy to get off the highway and out of the Kansas winds! This was a haven hen we needed it, they accommodated with a shady site, extended our stay a day when the winds were predicted to calm down. Nice and clean campground- we would stay again if we were ever going thru Kansas again-but I don't think that is going to happen! We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Construction comments not exagerated!! The heavy equipment starts at 7 AM...everyday..and continues all day! The front and rear gates are affected so there is machinery surrounding the park. I chose our site from the online park map that showed a nice tree but arrived to a completely bare, center site that had gravel and a small, concrete area with picnic table ...our neighbor used it one day because it was in the shade of the buses! I was told "management " doesn't like to move anyone after arrival so we had to line our windows with sun reflectors and keep the air running to beat the heat-in early June-not what we expected! That having been said, there are 2 pools - I only used one since the pool in front is right next to-literally- all the construction, it was nice and well kept. The laundry is being updated so I haven't gotten in there yet and I haven't used their facilities. You can never get staff on the phone and while they are friendly enough, they really had no assistance to my dissatisfaction of my site. This was our vacation destination and I was very disappointed with our site. The area itself was our saving grace. Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods park are very close as are Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. After you get through construction...grocery stores are close, so are several "smoke" shops. We did check out another campground a few miles down the road and it was horrible so for all my complaining, this park is much better. I also think their pictures of the park are misleading...you can't see the mountains unless you're walking around the park because the next rig is your view. They must have taken those pics when the Season was slow. Also,, I am writing this review late at night since the wi fi signal is inconsistent, even with our own hotspot! We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I really liked this camp! Good location- lovely grounds, very well kept and clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful- small store, pool and spa. Nice spacing around site - great dog park! Only drawback are some red ants and sand burrs in grassy areas. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oklahoma City East KOA, Choctaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice location - a short way off highway 40 but easy to get to and far enough to have no highway noise! Grounds are immaculate, staff is courteous and helpful, dogpark is secure but a lot of dirt - would be a mess if it rains. Our only disappointment was our site had absolutely no shade and no cable, even though we requested online. So the lesson we learned was always call for reservation instead of reserving online (helpful tip from front desk staff). Otherwise we liked this park and appreciated their clean laundry room! We stayed here in a 33ft motorhome with our Mini tow! We camped at Oklahoma City East KOA in a Motorhome.

Edgewood Cabins and RV Park, Bismarck, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If you plan on going to DeGray State Park, this campground is conveniently located . That having been said, there are 6 spots and 3 were long term rented (only 1was a sore site) all sites are sunny, no shade, but each has plenty of space for tow or toys. No amenities such as restrooms or showers, cable and no WiFi (unless it was in the two cabins on property). Owner very nicely accomodated us for Memorial Day weekend and for that we were grateful! Would stay again for an overnight if necessary. There is a very nice local restaurant, The Fish Net, that was maybe 3 miles away and was good food for a good price! We camped at Edgewood Cabins and RV Park in a Motorhome.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get to and convenient to shopping, many restaurants and attractions. Graceland was wonderful and only about 15 minutes away. Downtown Memphis is about 25 minutes. This campground is very clean! We used the laundry, saw the pool, but didn't use the restroom but all are kept very clean. There are campsites on both sides of main road one seems to have dogs (this side has a fantastic, well maintained dog run plus several dog clean up stations) the other side seems to be dog free. The owner, is extremely friendly and helpful and we would stay here again if we find ourselves in this part of MS. The only negative is I-55 ....rough riding! We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fair Harbor RV Park, Perry, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We camped overnight on our way to FL. Great park, convenient location, very clean! Nice layout with bath house, laundry, dog park, and small store. Nice park to walk thru after sitting all day. Our site was level, traveled and a roomy pull thru. We will definitely remember for our return trip. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stagecoach RV Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park - level sites but all grassy and dirt so it can be messy if there is a lot of rain. Laundry was very nice with 5 washers and dryers - all new! Park Mgmt is very nice and our only complaint was garbage men come nearly every day at 3:45 - AM! No kidding! We camped at Stagecoach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park set up was nice- pretty lake and trails but there's also a lot of dirt! We only had one day of rain so we had very dirty dogs. There was also a lot of road noise, sirens, and trains (which come thru all night blowing their horn) all that having been said, staff was nice and laundry and dumpster were easy access. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Summersville Lake Retreat, Mt. Nebo, West Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We paid for a pull-through and "view" site at $41.60 with our Good Sam discount. The view was outstanding! There is no lake access but the park has several trails with nice views. We took 1 trail today that was marked 1.2 miles that I would consider moderate to difficult but we enjoyed the workout . Staff is very nice and worked through Wi-Fi issues until they were finally resolved. Sites are well spaced with a lot of room in between. Each site also has fire pit and your own garbage can...very convenient! We camped at Summersville Lake Retreat in a Motorhome.

Hogback Lake KOA (Formerly Circle B Campground), Angola, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I really liked this park! It is well laid out with beautiful sites near the lake, of course, these were all taken by full timers or extended stays, but it provided a great area for walks and jogging. Convenient to shopping and dining and area attractions. Front office was hectic at times but we were there towards the end of summer. Their store stocked a wide variety of items! We would stay here again. We camped at Hogback Lake KOA (Formerly Circle B Campground) in a Motorhome.
