Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great KOA. Great office staff. I camped here overnight and dropped a few at Sam's Town. This is a very nice KOA...very large. This time I parked in a back in directly across from the office. It was just fine. I appreciate the fact that these folk keep this property so clean. This is my go to Vegas CG for sure. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town in a Motorhome.

Lafayette KOA, Scott, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great KOA. Outstanding office folk. I was camped in sp. 314 which was paved and mostly level. I preferred this section of the CG for sure. Although, it is a long walk to get to Billy's Boudin & Cracklins but ok. I booked this KOA due to its proximity to Avery Island and the Tabasco Factory (great tour). I would definitely come back. We camped at Lafayette KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tabasco Factory Tour (approx. 35 miles but allow 1 hour due to roads/speed limits). It is a hoot and a half. Also, Billy's Boudin & Cracklins. A must stop (adjacent to KOA, sort of).

Marina Bay RV Resort, Kemah, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

This is my go to CG while spending weeks visiting my daughter in nearby League City. This is a very good CG for sure. All facilities and the grounds are clean and well kept. The office staff are awesome. You are close to many alternatives for food/drink/entertainment. I generally stay here for 2-4 weeks a year. Although some might suggest the rates are high...this CG is worth the price for me. We camped at Marina Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was my 4th visit to USA RV Resort at Kemah, and I have never been disappointed. I come here to visit my daughter who lives close by, and this CG is my go to for a 2-4 week stay. Excellent in all regards. We camped at USA RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Desert Shadows RV Resort, Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best RV Parks in the country. Absolutely immaculate grounds and facilities. Staff is more than helpful and willing to take time to answer questions or lend a hand. RV section sits in the middle of a very large, permanent mobile home park - the residents are very nice and their pride of ownership shows throughout the park. My rate included the Good Sam discount. This is my second time at this facility and would highly recommend to anyone. We camped at Desert Shadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.
