Great park, as are all the COE parks I've visited. The parks I have been to were built in the early to mid 1900's, as huge water projects were being built. This park was built in 1950 as part of the McNary Dam project and is very well maintained. Our forefathers really had it together on these projects. The spaces are large compared to what we find in modern campgrounds and the prices remain very affordable.

BLM Campground with developed sites along Tuttle Creek. Near to the small town of Lone Pine, market, gas stations, restaurants, etc. Great views including snow capped Mount Whitney. Water available and a Dump for additional $5.

I found this RV Park pleasant to visit for several weeks. It's somewhat dated, but in decent repair. It could use some tender loving care though. If it were updated I would have given it an 8 or 9. It appears the park is 90% filled with full time residents who are pleasant, quiet during the day and evenings. Sites are mostly average for RV parks, but my Ram 2500 parked on the site with my 32 foot fifth wheel would have been a little tight. There was additional parking very close by though and I chose to use it. RV Park borders the lake. The staff was very pleasant.

Good overnight campground in a desert setting. Sites are very narrow and long. The host requests that you park at alternating ends which work out fine. I was able to open my three slides with no problem. Level gravel sites and paved entry roads. I stayed here overnight and would return.

I chose this location due to PA Discounts, but due to the Balloon Fiestal they were not offering anything and jacked up the prices. $20 here might have been okay for a one night stay. I have never written this bad of a review on any site. I do believe in giving the benefit of the doubt and I have not given the management a chance to correct anything, but I don't know they would be able to, since I am only staying one night and the rest of the sites around me are similar. Gravel and mostly dirt with some mud because of the rain. My site is overgrown with weeds, not grass and dirt. It has 30 amp with Sewer and water. No table or fire ring. The site is not level with a pothole or two and just barely long enough for my Truck and Fifth wheel. The office looks trashy, but the attendant was pleasant. The pool is closed. I will not come here again.

The facility is small, older, but in good condition. There seem to be a couple of seasonal campers here. The campsite was a pull through with 50 amp, Water and Sewer service. All functioned well. The site was gravel and mostly level. The Host/Owner was friendly and very helpful. There is a small pond at the back of the property, but not all that attractive or usefull. I stay here 4 nights and would return again.

My stay here was more of a stop over than a destination visit. I am traveling the central east coast this summer and booked my stay in advance to insure a place to park my fifth wheel during the holiday weekend. The park was full with mostly family's enjoying the holiday. I found the park to be very nice with privacy and loss of trees, which I enjoy. There is a laundry room here with three washers and dryers, a plus for s state park, and they were in good condition. Also the park has a pool and kayak rentals available for campers.

Great stay for a private park. Sites were wide and some shaded (I got lucky), Grounds were immaculate with open areas grass. My dog enjoyed the Dog Park, nice size, clean and benches to sit on with partial shade. I only interacted with the host one time and she was pleasant, not overly talkative. Met me at the office and pointed out my site which was right there.

As others have posted this is an old Motel on Route 66 that has been closed many years. I think it is on the historic site list. Current owner has used the old parking lot and built RV Sites. Also in the back of the motel. This was an overnight stay for me, but I did drive around a little. I will stay here again when passing through.

I found this campground because of Passport America. Like someone else mentions here, "don't worry if you think you're in a residential neighborhood " when driving here. It does ver off in a secluded canyon. A beautiful campground with excellent utilities and free wifi. I only stayed here two nights, but I wish I could have stayed a week or longer. The host and owner of the campground was very nice. Campsites were a little difficult to pull into and I did have to level my rig.

Date of Stay:

The campground had many old trees and very thick growth. It was beautiful. Campground was very quiet, but humidity was high during my stay. Sites were mostly level. Not many campers here when I stayed. There is also a public pool you can use on the grounds, but about a mile away from the campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't go in the restrooms or showers. The laundry room was not up to par as far as I am concerned and I chose not to do my laundry there.

I stopped here for a overnight camp, but decided to stay another day. Pleasant and restful retreat after multiple days of driving. It's a small family owned park and nicely kept. Utilities were very good. Site were level gravel-dirt, as well as the interior roads. A couple of days before I arrived they had heavy rain, but everything had drained off and dried. Many shaded spots with mature trees. A playground for children and a full basketball court for those inclined. The combination pool table, laundry room, bathroom and shower was okay. Only two washers and dryers, but worked good.

Very nice park with a few full time 'Park Model' homes. Very well kept; the property and the facilities. This time of year it's very empty but I was told in the winter months it's full and they do not take the PA discounts. I was going to stay here 1 night, but liked it so much I stayed 3. A fellow camper enjoyed the Observatory and presentation so I am going tonight. It's free! The roads are very nice and paved. The sites are paved with gravel on the sides under utilities and table.

I stayed here for a week while visiting with family nearby. The park has many amenities, but I only used the laundry, which was very clean and relatively new equipment. This park also has "Park Models" which are in very good shape. I am returning here for the "winter special" this year. Since this was summer and warm many of the RV sites were empty, so lots of room! Each site has a small cement patio between your RV and Vehicle.

Camped here for 9 days and the hosts are very accommodating and pleasant. Each site has a grass area and is larger than most private campgrounds. Lake Henry is a short distance as are several venues. This is a long way from city life and any large stores. Peaceful and quiet place to relax and fishing is close by.
