We camp quite a bit, and have come across some pretty bad parks. However Lake Brownwood is among the top of our list. Nice shaded site on Council Bluff, overlooking the lake. Our site, full hookup ( 83 ) was shaded, to help cut the Texas heat. It's just beautiful here, and we will return for another stay. Free Wifi and Excellent cellphone coverage.

We cut our visit to Meridian by one day, due to just boredom. It's a very small park. Only 8 full hook up sites. Zero cellphone coverage, therefore my personal hotspot on my phone was useless. If you like alone time, then this is the park for you.

We stayed March 22-29, lot 16. Excellent helpful staff. The park is beautiful, with nature everywhere you look. Gorgeous view of the lake. There is a lot of fallen timber that really should be cleaned up. Cell signal was excellent. We use a satellite dish for our TV. Dish placement was tricky, but we made it. Would for sure return for another visit.

Just beautiful. Perfectly landscaped and manicured. All streets were paved. Concrete pads level. Picnic table, fire pit and grill at each site. Beautiful pool and splash pad. Golf carts, miniature golf, tennis, etc. activities. Fantastic view overlooking the lake. Would stay here over and over again.

Very disappointed. Gravel everywhere, except concrete pads. No shade. Thirty (30 amp ) breaker kept kicking. Breaker was so hot, it couldn't be handled. No grassy area close by for walking dogs. Pool very tiny and not appealing. Will not stay here again.
