Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

VERY nice park. New, asphalt pull-through sites. Very clean tile showers, bath and laundry. Shuttles to take you around the grounds and to the hotel to use the pool or fitness center. Very helpful, friendly staff. Need pad under jacks if they don't have a disc bottom. Also need a ramp for sewer hose per county ordinance. Nice little town. About an hour's drive to the Grand Canyon south entrance. Would stay here again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

This is an OK park. Just off interstate and one exit from city of Glenwood Springs but expensive for what you get. Bathrooms clean but not great. Wi-Fi lousy even though they put us 3 sites from the on-site restaurant with its own Wi-Fi signal. It is on the river and has boating and zip line activities on site. Staff not overly friendly or helpful. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Exceptionally clean showers & bathrooms. Staff very friendly, stayed late to let us in when we called ahead. Level gravel sites, some trees. Spectacular view of the hillside. Nice laundry. Wi-Fi spotty, especially at night - had to go sit outside the office. No problem getting on it the morning. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Great location if you want to visit downtown SLC/Temple Square. The Mormon Church runs shuttles daily and the light rail stop is just outside the entrance. BIG park and was very busy on a Saturday night. Looked like a family reunion in the cabana next to the pool and playground. They have inexpensive breakfast available on Sat & Sun mornings. Very urban setting. I would stay there again if I wanted to be in the city but you do have to deal with big city traffic. Needed a regulator because of high water pressure. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.
