Malibu Beach RV Park, Malibu, California

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

By far the nicest campground I've experienced thus far. The staff were cordial and there to help. I lost my leveling blocks and they cut me new ones. The sites are packed dirt which wasn't quite as nice as concrete, but we made do. The view is spectacular and they had an excellent area for us to take the dogs out. WiFi worked fine as did the cable, but there were only 80 channels available. Guess I've been spoiled by satellite. Will return again and again. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Newport Dunes Waterfront RV Resort, Newport Beach, California

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park with great sites. The concrete pads are wonderful, but the rest of the park is just so, so. The view of the ocean is not nearly what I expected for the price I paid. The staff was somewhat friendly but could have done a little more to make you feel welcomed as a guest. Will not return as there are many nicer parks in the Southern California area: San Onofre, Malibu Beach, and a couple in the Santa Barbara area. We camped at Newport Dunes Waterfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pismo Sands RV Park, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $50.00

What can I say, It's Pismo Beach. Got to take the Quads out and rock the dunes and relaxed in the evening. No real complaints, although nothing to rave about either. We camped at Pismo Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dockweiler RV Park, Playa del Rey, California

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Well if you like dirty beaches and planes possibly landing on the roof of your rig, then this is the place for you. It was not, the place for me. While the RV Park itself is pretty nice, the surrounding area is terrible. Right next to LAX and some industrial areas makes this park less than desirable. We camped at Dockweiler RV Park in a Motorhome.
