Pioneer Trails RV Resort , Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Pioneer Trails for the past two years and absolutely love this resort. The place is beautiful, peaceful, the sites are spacious and the Staff has treated us with the utmost courtesy. Normally that's all it takes to get a 5-star rating from me. The one draw back; the road dust is ridiculous. The managers / owners have allowed the gravel roads to be ground into dust and have chosen not to maintain them. They have a "5 mph, strictly enforced, speed limit" sign at the entrance, but it is not enforced and a very small percentage of campers adhere to it. Let the dust clouds roll. Bottom line: they need to spend some money, seal the dust and then re-gravel the roads. If you don't mind a lot of dust, then this is a great place to camp. As for me, I will not return until the dust issue is resolved. We camped at Pioneer Trails RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Junction West RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I have traveled 45k miles through 41 states in the past nine years and we have never encountered finer Customer Service than we received at Junction West RV Park.

Due to a family emergency, we had been forced to cancel most of our previously planned summer space reservations and were without a confirmed reservation for Labor Day.

While traveling north through Denver in route to Montana, my wife decided to called JW RV Park to see if they had anything available for the Labor Day weekend that would tie into a confirmed September reservation we had retained at the Grand Junction KOA. To our good fortune, Lisa answered the phone and informed my wife the park was booked full, but they had just had a cancellation and she told us to 'come on', they had a space for us. Upon arrival we were guided to our space and assisted with parking.

The park has a great view of the Grand Mesa to the west and we've seen many wonderful sunrises and sunsets during our stay.

JW has some of the largest (70 ' x 40') pull-throughs we have ever encountered with rail fence dividers between each space and nice picnic tables. The surface is gravel, but has very little dust issues due to the type of gravel used. The streets within the park are 33' wide, so there no issues for larger coaches towing. Utility connections are handy, but you will need a long coaxial cable if you require cable. The water pressure was a bit lower than we usually encounter, but nothing of concern. JW is located near I-70, but excessive noise is not an issue. There's a Love's on the access road if you require fuel and the park is located ~4 miles from numerous restaurants and grocery markets.

The Maintenance Staff is continually roaming the park conducting routine checks, up keep and improvements, but are prompt to deal with any issue you encounter during your stay.

The Owners & Staff are top notch. Great park.

Rate based on daily, weekly & monthly during our stay. Daily =$43 w/GS. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Good Sam discount for a Premier site. Rate is high, but worth if you have early morning maintenance appointment on the other side of the interstate. Otherwise, over priced compared to other parks of the same quality. Easy access, paved interior roads, concrete parking pad with patio and good quality picnic tables. Utilities were set up properly with the exception of the sewer connection. Don't understand why they put it at the back of the pad. Can't speak to the quality of their Wi-Fi as I have my own. Park is well landscaped and maintained. We were near the lake which added a bit of ambiance to our site and the park. Will stay here again when I have reason to be in the area. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Motorhome.

Wine Country RV Park, Prosser, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, well maintained park with super friendly and helpful staff. Easy access for any size rig, good utilities, concrete pads w/patio and good quality picnic tables. If you need shade, this is not the place for you. There are trees, but it will be years before they mature to provide shade. We have our own Wi-Fi, so can't speak to the quality of the park's. Definitely would stay again when in the area. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Overnighted following maintenance at the nearby Cummins shop. They only had one 50-amp pull-through available and it did not have sewer, but this was not a problem. The other utilities were good quality. The park is beautiful with easy access and all sites appeared roomy. The only issue of any consequence was our site was not level, so I had to lay down a few jack pads. This did not appear to be an issue for most sites. Overall, good experience and would stay again without question. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverfront RV Park, Garrison, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on monthly converted to daily. If you are seeking frills, this is not the place for you. If you are seeking peace, quiet and friendly folks, you would mostly likely enjoy Riverfront. The owner is a long time resident, takes great pride in keeping his park in quality condition and makes himself available in the event you have any problems. Beautiful green park with plenty of room to play or walk your dogs. No access issues for big rigs with tow. Located far enough from I-90 that highway noise is no bother. Trains do pass through the area on a regular basis and could be bothersome to some folks. As for us, we enjoy the sound of trains in the distance, so it wasn't an issue. The Little Blackfoot River runs along the eastern edge of the park, so fishing is available as well. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.
