Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night, it's a beautiful park... enjoyed watching the children and pet's enjoy their separate parks. Nice view of the Truckee River and Reno in the east.

It's KOA, everything was perfectly clean, tidy and quiet at night. Right off I-80 west, shuttle to the local casino, gas and food nearby. It had a great road for walking. Will stay again! We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Fifth Wheel.

Duck Creek RV Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 nights on our way up to Fallon, NV and I-80. It was a little tight parking, we had a back-in space, with close neighbors, but it was level! There was a local bus stop right out side front gate. It was quiet, even though we faced the Boulder Highway. We had to park on the street, space was for RV only. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

It was great location for touring the area or just a quick rest from a long drive. There was a ranger on duty 24 hours a day, it was quiet, and felt very safe. Plenty of things to do, bike riding, walking trail, fish and release, nice playground and more! We camped at St. Peters' 370 Lakeside Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It was located off West Old Highway 54, a industrial area south of town. Pretty quiet, except for a couple trains! It was shaded, dirt and gravel; somewhat level. It was OK for a one night stop while we visited the World War II aircraft museum. We camped at Seven Winds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the official Dorothy's House site from Wizard of OZ, we took a snapshot of one of the many statues around town. Enjoyed our visit to World War II museum, that's the main reason for our stop! Shopping was just like everywhere, and plenty restaurants were available.

Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West, Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 weeks. This is our 2nd extended stay, and we'll be back!

They do have a $3 per day electric charge, but you really wouldn't want to be without air in August! This is a perfect park if you are a Nascar fan, but it's great family park with fantastic pool equipped with handicap lift, a putting green and tennis court. The showers are clean and private individual rooms. Not to mention the laundry is excellent and the little gift shop is great. Plus Wi-Fi . We camped at Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West in a Fifth Wheel.

It's on the side of hill, over looking Colorado Springs: a beautiful view. We stayed 2 nights, enjoyed the 2 Air Museum's, Garden of the God's and old town Colorado Springs. The sites were truly cliff hangers, right up to edge. So worth the view!! Plenty of things to do, places to eat and shop nearby. We camped at Foot of the Rockies RV & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Haven Retreat, Indianapolis, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The ground is very soft, unleveled, and difficult to walk on, because it's always slippery from loose asphalt rocks. (Especially when you've recently had a hip replacement surgery, and asked several times to be moved to level site.) We stayed here from June 1 - July 25th. We will not be back unless they can fix their parking spaces. This park is not ADA compliant, has no hand rails in the showers, or benches for privacy in the shower areas. A loose curtain and public bench, which is visible from the laundry room door, (where you can be seen by fellow campers) REALLY doesn't count. This is our third and final stay here, the only thing I can say positive it's close to INDY! We camped at Lake Haven Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The site's were paved and level, pull-through, all 148 of them. It's located on the lake, has very nice swimming area away from campground, fantastic walking path, it's bike and kid friendly. The bathroom/showers were fantastic, clean and shower's cost 75 cents. The laundry are was very nice, even had super size machine. Nice little playground area. There were no on-site water hookups. It's in fantastic area for exploring the area. There is additional $8 per day fee, beside your camping charge. Would stay again! We camped at Boyd Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
