A good "overnight" park when traveling to or from Florida. The manager offers great customer service. A friendly greeting and he escorts directly to your site. He offers any assistance needed in set up. A basic overnight stop at a very reasonable price. Strong Wi-Fi signal strong 50 amp service, and good cable TV service.

This is a Municipal Park located on Buffalo Creek on the south side of town. No Reservations. Motorhomes/Trailers pull into a sand and grass parking area. Sites are not marked, campers pull in and set up. Services are Basic. Dry camping with electricity. Sites are Electric only. One 50 amp service, four 30 amp receptacles. No fresh water fill. Dump station costs $4. Park has a challenging 18 hole Disc Golf Course, swimming pool with water slides, softball diamonds, baseball park, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, wild animal zoo, and bicycle paths. The only amenity that has a fee is the swimming pool. The bicycle path leads out of the park and continues for 6 miles to the town of Plato. This park has many other activities (music in the park, civic festivals, etc.). Park is quiet at night and is frequently patrolled by the local police. Some highway and train noise, but not enough to be objectionable. Lots of room for kids to run. I have stayed at this park the last 5 or 6 years, and have always had a pleasant experience.
