First time staying at a TT park. We stayed here in a 43' motorhome using a promotional offer. Check in is at the front guard gate and your told to find your own site. The CG is extensive and we finally found a vacant site in the last loop. We noticed that many sites were empty but had a white plastic chain across the front. Later we learned that these are seasonal owners. The road in is paved but the loops are large gravel. No cable and our site backed into huge trees blocking our satellite reception. All we had was OTA TV. All our neighbors were permanent and had trailers or 5th wheels permanently parked on their sites. We woke up the next day to the sound lawn mowers to find our next door neighbor mowing their grass. There is a nice heated indoor pool and recreation area but overall the park needs maintenance. We would not stay here again.

This was our first experience with an Encore park. Stayed here 5 days using a free promotional offer. We were visiting Oregon and selected this park as a home base for the Mt Hood and Columbia River Gorge area. Easy to find from Hwy 26. Check in was efficient and staff was courteous. The facilities: pool, office, store, clubhouse and onsite restaurant are very nice. The park is extensive. No escort to site. We were in the VM loop. Interior road is paved but site is a mix of gravel/dirt. The site is overgrown with vegetation with an area just clear enough to fit our 43' motorhome. The drop off from the asphalt into the site is about 6" at our site. The site starts uphill then levels out with a slight lean left to right. Tricky backing in. Our power box was held on by electrical tape that was wrapped around it making it functional. Utilities worked fine. Cable was marginal and satellite was impossible due to canopy. Our site had a fire ring/grill with trash that needed cleaning. As we can drove in we noticed trash dumpsters along the side of the loop. In front of our site we had two dumpsters making it very unsightly. The CG sites/loops are neglected and need maintenance. Other sites have the same appearance. No doggy park. The location is great for visiting many local attractions: Timberline Lodge, Mirror Lake, the Gorge, waterfalls, many hiking trails and the town of Sandy, etc. If we had to pay for the site we would not stay here but the location is great.

Stayed in a 43' motorhome while traveling from Reno to Las Vegas on Hwy 50. Wanted to drive the "Pony Express Route" thru the desert. Easy on/off from Hwy 50. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly. Gravel dirt roads... very dusty. Small dog park with doggy bags provided. Lots of space to walk your dog in adjacent open fields. No cable, used our satellite. Some grassy manicured areas. This is not a destination park. Price is high.

Stayed in a 43' motorhome to visit the Redwoods. Park is easy to find from Hwy 101. Check in is in the gift shop and was fast and efficient. Staff was very friendly and helpful about area attractions. No assigned sites. You have to find your own. Park has an easy layout so it is easy to find a site. No dog park but ample space to walk your dog on grass. You are among the Redwoods. No cable. we used our satellite. Location is in the middle of the Ave of the Giants making it easy to visit the Redwoods. Other than the forest there is nothing else going on here. Make sure you visit the NPS visitors center for a good idea of the trails. If visiting the Redwoods we would stay here again.

This is a small, clean park. Very friendly, helpful manager. The park is easy in/out from Hwy 50. Paved roads and concrete pads, no grass but have artificial turf and sand. Sites are very close. Utilities are fine. Fenced in dog park all sand. Walked our dog across the street at local Casino that has grass. We stayed 2 nights to visit Virginia City which is about 8 miles away. We stayed here in a 43' motorhome on site #30 which is a double front to front facing site right at the entrance. We had the site all to ourselves which made easy pulling and exit. We would consider staying here again if in the area.

Stayed in a 43' motorhome to visit the Redwoods and Crescent City. Easy to find from Hwy 101. Paved road thru park then gravel into site. Site was level and had good utilities. Stayed in pull thru site among the Redwood trees. Close to Hwy 199 and the Jedediah Redwoods. Crescent City offers excellent views of the ocean, Lighthouse and seals along the rocks. If in the area would stay here again.

Stayed four nights in a 43' coach. Electric only (50A) back-in site (#38). Check-in is smooth. Roads and sites are paved. Facilities are well maintained with two dump sites available. Water is available at different locations adjacent to sites. Many mature shade trees provide great cover for outdoor activities. Lots of space between sites. Our site had partial shade with clear sight for satellite reception. Park is adjacent to Snake River and a boat launch is part of the park for jet-ski or boat launch.

We have stayed here numerous times as we travel I-75 N/S to/from central Florida and stay overnight. Easy on-off and easy to navigate to your site. It is a small park but easy to navigate our 43' coach. The park has shaded and open back-in and pull-thru FHU sites. Check-in has always been fast and courteous. They are always ready for us and escort you to your site without leaving your coach. Once set up you check-in. They accept PA making it a great value. They have a great pool and nice area to walk pets and provide doggy bags.

Conveniently located in Wears Valley with easy access to the GSMNP and Cades Coves. Great views of the Smoky mountains from your front window. Beautiful Club House, Pool and immaculate Bath and Shower facilities with laundry and game room. Concrete Pads and combined concrete, asphalt, gravel roads. Some pads are gravel. Our motorhome is 42 feet long and we had space for rear or front parking. Campground managers, Fred and Sandy Cain, are extremely friendly and efficient. Rates are daily but monthly rates available. Stayed for one month and will return when visiting the GSM again.

Smooth check in, friendly clerks. Stayed in shaded site with river view. Our 42 foot motorhome fit nicely with room for one vehicle parked sideways in front. Pool was not open in May 2014 because of construction on a water park adjacent to the pool due for completion in June 2014. Location is on busy Parkway with access to shows and restaurants in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg but a distance from the GSMNP entrance in Sugarland and very far from the Cades Cove entrance. Paved roads and clean baths and showers. Would stay here again.
