Tohickon Family Campground, Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Would have helped if someone could have give us directions to by-pass the covered bridge?! Uh, most of your clients are motorhomes, pull-alongs etc. How can you not know how to get a client to your campground? We didn't end up staying. We got their last spot on Oak Drive. It was sandwiched between dirty and sloppy. Dirt road; dirt spot. No way to get into the spot safely. Access to water was a mystery. Couldn't find it and neither could the staff. No one there to help with anything. As we were leaving, we saw some lovely spots with large grass area in the front. They were the seasonals. The spots they have for overnights were not acceptable. Pass on this place. We camped at Tohickon Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Quakerwoods Campground, Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

First of all, there is a covered bridge that you probably should not try to use. Unfortunately, no one at the camp knew how to direct us around the bridge. Very nice people and we got the last spot they had. Oak Street! No numbers on spots, no one knew where the running water hook up was, and the area was dirty looking. The best spots are in the center. The restaurant is not operating, camp store very limited, and whole place hilly. Long term rigs filthy. We didn't stay the night. We camped at Quakerwoods Campground in a Motorhome.
