Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a old very old KOA. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. They have an old fashioned restaurant on site. Pull through sites your tow definitely sticks out. A plus is they've tried to separate the long-term residents from the overnight guest. Like many Texas RV Parks lots of permanent/ long-term oil workers. This is the second time we've stayed here while traveling on I 10 as there is really no other place to stay in the area. This is the best unfortunately. A little tricky in the pull throughs pulling out. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Easy on off of interstate 10. Spacious sites including pull through super-sites. Great dog runs, everything is spotless. Within walking distance of the historic town. There is a privacy fence between sites which is very nice. Very easy to level. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

High Springs Campground, High Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is truly a campground. This park is very very old and overgrown. Had the only pull through site for a big rig. Big plus was easy leveling. You definitely have to dodge the trees both in the campground and the road leading to the campground itself. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Quite a few long term tenants. The problem with this area of Florida is there's just are no alternative places to say. Tried Lake City not much better. Would not stay here again. We camped at High Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Aztec RV Resort, Margate, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $110.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. All class A coaches. Felt a little out of place as the vast majority of guest/owners are French-Canadian. French is the definite language of this park. We camped at Aztec RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Point Of View Key Largo RV Resort (Closed), Key Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

If you're not beach front it's a giant gravel parking lot. Yes they are very wide with hedges but that's it. Stayed in a beach front site. Had lots of problems leveling. Measured with a tape, 11 inches difference from the front to the back of the coach. Saw a nearby beach front site that there would be no way you could level in a motorhome.

Nice beach are, very clean with great service, nice dock area also for your boat. But please spend a little money and improve these nice sites so we all have a great experience staying here. We camped at Point Of View Key Largo RV Resort (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Everglades Isle Motorcoach Resort (Class A only), Everglades City, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

The owners spared no expense on this resort. It's far an away in a class by itself, paver driveway, sites, and walkways. The most beautiful main building, office, bar/gathering area with mahogany floors, high ceilings and that old Floridian feel. Great service, floating dock along the waterfront to tie up your boat. Beautiful pool/spa area with a full workout room. And then there is the theater room. Nothing like this in other Motorcoach resorts. Several areas to enjoy the beautiful sunsets both inside and out along the waterfront. Fully gated resort. You're given a key fob for access. Also a great dog park. This resort is truly in a class by itself. When visiting south Florida in you Motorcoach this is a must stop! We camped at Everglades Isle Motorcoach Resort (Class A only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great resturants within walking distance, freaks fish. Airboat rides, close to the Everglade National Park, and nice biking in the area. Head out to Shark Valkey to see the alligators. Nice 15 mile bike ride there. Lots to do in the area. Book a private kayak tour to really see the Everglades!

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here last May. It had looked like they were getting ready to clean things up for summer specifically bad asphalt/potholes. Returned in late October and nothing had been done. Also the dog run was totally disgusting. They do not provide any doggy bags and have only a small hand scoop for pick up. On the plus side the pads are cement with plenty of gravel space between sites. The park could use a little TLC, as it has a nice layout and very convenient for off I-40. Also there is a Love's truck stop as you come off the freeway towards the park. Very convenient for fueling. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Ok place to stay with very little noise. Nice road leading off I-90 to park. Very helpful staff. Close getting around in big rig as park was very full. Saw some sites that the coaches were blocked up in front to get level. We had a fairly level site. Grass in between, gravel roads and sites. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crested Butte RV Resort, Crested Butte, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Small park but great location. On the river and only 2 miles from town. The road to the golf course is just down the street. Nice wide sites, good power and water pressure. No sewer, as you are right on the river. Owners have installed new bathrooms with new separate showers, very nice. If you have a big rig make an early reservation as those spaces are limited. Large grass area with a BBQ and fire pit area. Will be back. We camped at Crested Butte RV Resort in a Motorhome.
