Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The owners and staff were great. The sites are plenty long enough for a large motorhome and a tow vehicle. The sites are large and separated by usually three rows of trees. The bathhouses were always clean, as were the showers. The location was good for me but too far in the middle of nowhere for my wife. Not the downsides: the flies were awful, if I killed one I killed hundreds. We enjoy eating our meals outside while camping but during this five night stay we could only eat one outside. The activities for kids seemed somewhat haphazard. While the activity staff was very nice they did not seem too organized. I would stay here again but not so sure my wife would. We camped at Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast in a Motorhome.

Fort Smith / Alma RV Park, Alma, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was not terrible if it was operated better. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The pool was not so much. It was swim-able but with bugs in it. The older man who checked us in was, in a word, crotchety. I asked what time the pool closed and he said "you can do what you want, you can drown, you can catch a cold, I don't care. I am leaving." I had no response. If pressed I would stay here again for a short amount of time but hope I am not pressed. We camped at Fort Smith / Alma RV Park in a Motorhome.

Memphis Jellystone Park, Horn Lake, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a total of four nights. The park was extremely clean and the staff could not have been friendlier. The planes only woke me up once and the wifi was hit or miss. We use camping for family time so did not rely on the wifi and did not use the cable. Our three year old absolutely loved the pool, water slides, and activities with Yogi. We are planning another trip here in July. We camped at Memphis Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.
