Had a beautiful space overlooking Bracket Field. With lot of grass and a view of lake from the top of the hill.

Nice place to stay overlooking the beach. Only draw back is the train and the people who drive the road. The speed limit is way too fast and very dangerous walking along the side with a dog. Dogs are allowed on the beach on a leash. Fires allowed in the rocks at the campsite.

This is a great park. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Gave us a wonderful view site with lots of room. Spa was great! Access to Mesa Verde just across highway. Thanks for a great stay.

We got last site large enough for our rig. Had to diconnrct trailer but good parking for it. Managers were very nice, helpful and accomidating.

Very small spaces for large rigs, barely enough room to open slides. Had rained so space was very muddy, not enough gravel.

Staff very helpful and considerate. Great place to stay, except hook ups were not good for our rig. Could not use sewer until we left and backed up so hose would reach. Had to use two hoses to connect to water.

Found an open space large enough for us: very nice. Lots are spacious and offer some shade. Site surface was a concrete pad, featuring a fire ring and picnic table. Friendly staff and very helpful. Ranger came by and told us rain is expected: not leave our carpet and items out. Might flash flood and it will all wash away. We are safe but our items may wash away.

Stayed 3 nights here, beautiful park with great sites and lots to do. Pull through easy with lots of room for slides. Nice to not camp on top of other rigs. Love this site. Lots of activities in the park for all. A little pastry, fresh vegetable cart came by with lots of fresh corn, onions, zucchini and homemade pies to buy, just wonderful.

Black Bear Campground

Stayed for 3 nights in a pull through site. No shade and close to neighbor. Not worth the money and very noisy. Other campers staying on site for jobs left early in morning and started vehicles and left them running until they left at which time they peeled out of the park. So much for speed limits. No courtesy for others in park.

Great place to enjoy ones self. Quiet, clean, lots of trees and easy access. Lake short distance from site.

Wonderful park to stay in. Great spaces, friendly people and a wonderful staff. A little noisy right now due to constuction of new sites. Just spend the day out and about no noise in the evening.

Date of Stay:

Must have recently changed hands. Sites are dirt and not clean. Lots of weeds and many dead trees. Garbage dumpster was over flowing and looks very bad. Wi-Fi not good at last few sites and no cable or major networks available with regular antenna. Very dusty from people driving through park including park personnel on golf carts. They also drive very fast... Manager was very friendly but over whelmed. Not as represented in camp book.

Date of Stay:

Stayed for five days, great stay, clean neat and kept up. Garbage picked up daily. Safe place to swim and have a boat.

Date of Stay:

Very quiet and not many people in the park. Not fancy but plenty of room sites are large. Date on review incorrect we stayed in July 2015 on the way to Sturgis Rally.
