This RV park is only open during racing events that are at the track across the street and at the Indy Motor Speedway, so about 30 days per year. The park is beautiful and very well laid out. The is grass at every site and 50 amp electric. They have a double dump station and water station. We attended the Brickyard 400, and stayed here as it was only 8 miles to the race track, much closer than other places. Though they might have been a little less as far as space rent goes, the convenience of Raceview made it worth the extra money for us. If you are attending any race in the area we highly recommend staying here.

The campground is in a nice park facility with a great play area for the kids located down by the lake. It is not real close to the campground though. We also had to purchase an annual county park pass to be able to get in ($10.00). The reason for the average rating is very few of the sites are level. Many of them are slanting downhill so it is hard to get level. They could use a little better signage directing those who do not live here to the campground and check in. We drove past it the first time and had to call to find out where to go. Also, even though they have a maximum camper limit of 6 people and two tents (or one camper unit and one tent) per site there were several that had many more than that, one having at least 18 people in it and one with 4 tents. Their dump station is also located on a hill making it hard to get completely empty. It is a very busy park on the weekends with lots of tent campers - 3 to 6 tents per site. I would recommend this campground in certain areas only and during the week if possible.

This is primarily a mobile home community. There are 9 RV sites that all have 50 amp power, water and sewer. The park is 55+ so no kids but that makes it a very quiet place to stay. There isn't any laundry or shower facilities so you have to have those on board. The grounds are kept nice within the park. A couple of the RV pads could use a little TLC but our site (#4) is great. The gravel pad is fairly level and a nice concrete patio area with a picnic table. At $20.00 plus tax per night it's a great value.

This is a somewhat older park. The sites are a little too close for us - not a lot of room to put put lawn chairs. They do have fire rings at all of the sites. Our original site that was a "standard" site with electric and water only (which is the one that is on the Passport America discount). The electric did not work. They moved is to a different site which wound up being one of their premier sites. This was nice as it gave us 50 amp service, cable and a sewer hookup. The laundry machines need to have some repairs. There are 5 washers but only 2 were working. Also the pop machine in the laundry and the one at one of the bathroom buildings are not working. These are usually handled by the pop distributor but they need to be notified. Overall if is a nice park and due to the fact it is in a tourist area they can demand the higher prices. We would not have stayed here if it had not been for the Passport discount.

This is a beautiful park and has been very well taken care of. The pride of ownership shows. Rate shown is with the Passport America discount. They escort you to your site which is always a plus in our book. The grounds are well maintained and there are flowers planted everywhere. Sites are long and far apart so you don't feel like you're sitting in your neighbours RV. Several sites have great shade but ours did not. Ask for one if you can. (Site 68 had great afternoon shade) Highly recommend this RV park.

We had reservations to stay for two nights. We were assigned a sight based on the size of our RV - 39 feet. The site, #58 was the only one they had that would fit our rig. On arriving at the site we noticed the neighboring site had their Direct TV dish sitting slightly inside the area of our site. We backed in and got all set up. Unfortunately we had to block their dish from it's reception. They asked us to move (about 3 hours after we got all set up) but we could not due to a tree and tree stump that was about 2 feet from our other side. We decided to leave after one night. The park has mostly (95%) long term tenants this time of the year. There were only 2 sites available. Some long terms need to clean up their sites - lots of stuff sitting around. For the price with our Passport America it was an OK place. Not something I would want to stay in for more than a couple of nights though.

We found this park to be very clean and easy to get around in. Yes there were a couple of low hanging branches but nothing that was a worry. We did not use the bath house so can not assess it's cleanliness but the rest of the park seemed to be very clean. The lady at the front office was very helpful and welcoming. We had 50 amp power and water, which a lot of state parks do not have either. I think for the value it is a great place to stay, especially with the amenities it had. We would certainly state here again if in the area.

We found the owner to be extremely accommodating and helpful. Due to our size we had to park our car trailer near the storage sheds and she was very helpful with that as well as getting us settled into our site. Fit our Big Rig just great! We did not see any beer cans around the area and as far as the owners dogs being allowed to run loose as far as they are friendly I don't see a problem with that. The park is an older smaller park but very clean. They have a new washer and dryer in the laundry room. Off the highway so it is very quiet. We would certainly stay here again if we were coming to the area. Thanks for all of the help.

The campground is very hilly with several very steep hills. If you are towing a trailer behind a MH you will drag your trailer on the road. The roads are also full of potholes. The sites are narrow as are the roads so parking a large motorhome is a challenge. The staff in the office is nice. Would not recommend this place for a big rig or anything over about 30 feet. Included in nightly rate is a $4.00 per night fee if you stay less than 30 days and a $3.00 per night fee to park your towed trailer. So our nightly rate was $35.00 total and this was with a Passport America 50% discount. Not what I consider a value.

The people at this park are the most friendly and helpful folks we have ever encountered! We travel with 2 dogs and 1 cat and all were given little bagged treats, as were the humans, as well of mints. The dog area is wonderful and they had a supply of balls for them to play with. Nice large fenced area where they can run. Baggies supplied as well. The office/store were very clean and well stocked with incidentals you might need. The only drawback I can see is that the sites are narrow. While our 4 slide unit fit there really isn't designation between our site and the neighbor's. Maybe if some large rocks or wood borders could be put between them. All this taken into consideration we would definitely stay here again and will recommend it.

This is a very nice park situated along the Wind River. Grounds were well kept. Sites are wide and long enough to accommodate our 61 foot overall length of our motor home and enclosed trailer. Felt it was a little too expensive, though. They are within 60 miles of Teton and 85 miles of Yellowstone so I would not consider them to be "close".

We stayed here for 3 weeks while visiting family and friends and waiting to get our RV repaired. The park is extremely clean and well run. There are many long term stay tenants but their sites are all kept very clean. The site we were in was level with a nice patio with a picnic table. We had plenty of room for our 38' MH and 20' enclosed trailer and still had room to park our car. The only issue we had was with a long term tenant bringing his dog over to the grass outside to potty and him smoking while doing so. Did not enjoy smelling it through our windows. Would recommend this park to anyone.

Very nice campground with large spots. We are a total of 61 feet long with enclosed trailer and they were able to accommodate us. Office folks were very helpful.
