Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight sites. We did not even attempt to have a campfire because our fire ring was right up against our neighbors rig. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Shuttle bus to Hershey was excellent, ran constantly, air conditioned and courteous drivers. Pool was nice and had lifeguards that actually took their job seriously . We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 5 days over the holiday weekend and the park was filled to capacity. The pool was overcrowded and no one was here to enforce the rules, plenty of beer drinking in the pool. One night the campers behind me decided to set off firecrackers. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Black Bear Campground, Florida, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place with plenty of changes made in the last 2 years. Nice paved road up the hill to our site. Clean pool and large sites. There is a section reserved for pipeline workers but that area is out of the way. Lots of wildlife in the area and great views. We camped at Black Bear Campground in a Travel Trailer.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Usually stay there 2-3 times a year. On the weekends they have lots of activities for the children. Their staff has always been friendly and the management team are very helpful. Their themed weekends are great and fun filled. 2 years ago we stayed there on their last weekend they were open and a freak snow storm dropped 19" of snow, while most campers left before the storm hit full force we stayed. On their last open day, Sunday, I found out back home we did not have electric. I asked the manager if we could extend our stay 1 more day and was told yes, as they started to close down the campground they would ensure the water and electric to our site was left on. On Tuesday as I prepared to pack up to leave the manager had a plow truck come over and clear a nice path for me to exit the CG to the main road. Great place and even better people to deal with. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Travel Trailer.
