Crossroads RV Park, Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night. Easy on/off. Neatly kept park. We had a great place to run our hunting dog. The only issue we had with the park was that we were parked right next to playground. If you want quiet, ask that you not be put in spot #1 or #2! A previous comment stated an easy walk to Hy-Vee. It is, but know it is probably .5 mile there and .5 mile back. You walk on the side of the road--not a sidewalk. We camped at Crossroads RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled in around 7pm and left early so didn't use or see much. Staff was friendly on phone when reserved earlier in the day as well as when we checked in. It is an easy on/off 1-24 with an easy access diesel fill before reaching the rv park. 1-24 noise was a lot before 10pm and started again at 4:30am. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Brickyard Plantation Golf Club & RV Park, Americus, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Decent place for an overnight. We had a level, gravel spot. The RV park is a separate entrance than the golf course. The park host greeted us at the entrance after talking with his buddy. He lead us to our spot. It had a nice pond and open area for us to swim and run our dog. We camped at Brickyard Plantation Golf Club & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Payne's RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

A rural, quiet setting with a pond where geese, goslings, and ducks roam/swim. Several pull-thru sites. Most sites are grass but some are gravel. Office was pleasant but it isn't the cleanest. Our hunting dog had a huge area to run. Good place for an overnight. One review commented about a smell. We believe it is the humidity and the warm winter they are having in 2017. No cable even though there is a connection there. We had several local stations available. We camped at Payne's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground), Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled in late. We had called earlier and advised owner of our ETA. She had a packet of info and site assignment for us in an envelope taped to the door. Park was not busy. Water was still shut off for the winter but all we wanted was electric hookup and a place to sleep. When we left the next morning, we could see the park was very clean and nicely cared for. If park is very full, it could be tight for big rigs to move around. Park was easy to get to from I-80. Truck traffic could be heard by morning. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park was ok. Nothing fancy. Gravel pads aren't very long. Our lot was fairly level. There are trees between most lots. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were here during off-season so park wasn't very full. Wi-Fi was good. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lot of sight seeing in the area--Arches and Canyonlands. If have a 4x4 with high clearance, i.e. jeep, take the Potash road (US279) out of Moab thru Canyonlands. First part of road runs near a mine, but once you get into the park, the views are amazing. Take it all the way up the switchbacks to the visitors center for a great ride!

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Rate included discount and taxes. Spacious sites with private area for table and chairs. The best part of the park for us was the huge area behind the park to run our hunting dog. Our site wasn't the most level but we were able to level the rig. Other sites looked good. The blue and white signs along US180 heading west were helpful in knowing where to turn to the park. AT&T cell service was poor in the area. Park's Wi-fi was good early in the morning. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We weren't impressed with historic downtown but it also was off season. We loved the drive and hike to Gila Cliff Dwellings and then over to the Chino mine.

Red Barn RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Small (about 12 sites), clean RV park just east of Roswell. Should call ahead to ensure there is room as they tend to have all sites filled each night. Although small, our 40ft (and others) fit comfortably. The owner is updating bathrooms and office area. WI-FI was great! Sites are gravel and level. Water quality was good. There was a big field out back where we could run our hunting dog. We would definitely recommend and come again! We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

McKinley RV & Campground, Healy, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This place was a dump. The sites were not level and were very difficult to get into.. Road construction workers were staying here while working on the Parks Highway. The RV park did nothing to keep the place picked up. We camped at McKinley RV & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tundra Lodge & RV Park, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park doesn't get noticed since it is at the far end of Tok. This park looks a bit run down but the sites are long and spacious. There is ample space between the treed sites. Wi-Fi is accessible at the office. We will be staying here again on our way home. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
