Oak Park Kampground, Garfield, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground, but no wifi or cable. Personnel very friendly. Had a great site for one night. We left our door awning out when we pulled out in the morning and they call us within a minute to tell us. We camped at Oak Park Kampground in a Motorhome.

Mohican North Star RV Park, Bowler, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Park was good. Next to casino. Stayed one night. Lots of trees so no satellite. Cable not working, though advertised. No wifi at campground. It was OK for a one night stay going through but Gould not recommend for longer stays unless the casino was the reason for the stay. We camped at Mohican North Star RV Park in a Motorhome.

Heart Of The Rockies Campground, Poncha Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is not well signed if coming from the West. We missed it and had to turn around. When we arrived, they showed our reservation for the next day arrival. I don't know how the mistake happened, but we did not get a confirmation email to verify. Nevertheless they had a spot for us for two nights. We have a 40 foot Motorhome, and needed to unhook before going to sight. The sites are terraced and pull through. We had trouble getting into ours because of trees. Same for getting out of the site. Lots of jockeying. Seems to be quite a lot of permanent/long term sites. The park is ok, but could use some fluffing and puffing. Views are great, People friendly and caring. They had a cook out on Friday night for everyone. We camped at Heart Of The Rockies Campground in a Motorhome.

Little town of Salida is very nice. Did a trip to St. Elmo also. Beautiful scenery. Currents is a great little restaurant. Sat at the back bar watching the kitchen. Fun!

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, close to downtown SLC. Lots are close, but was ok to get in and out of. We had a pull through. We were nervous about this campground at first because of being in the city when traveling with a 40 foot motorhome and towing. The directions into the park were great and it is easy ro access from I-80. A little train noise early in the morning, but not bad. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The park has some nice sites. Ours was not one of them. The site was unlevel, left front tire off the ground. No level spot for picnic table. Close to neighbors. It is close and convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park. Would look for alternates next time, or specify site. We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Area's Finest Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night, and from the first phone conversation we felt the campground really cared about people who stay there. We had a nice level site, picnic table, and lot of room for our towed vehicle. They have a cable system that requires you to put your TV on channel 3 and use their remote to change stations. Signal and quality really good pointing the remote at the box outside was a bit challenging, but worked. We camped at Area's Finest Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Petoskey RV Resort, Bay Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful resort. Park like setting with motorhomes only. Many sites are drive in sites so you are are looking at grass, trees and water. This is a park where you can buy in to have a permanent site. There are no picnic tables and no fire rings. The clubhouse has activities nearly every night. It is beautiful inside, with fitness center, pool table, card rooms, big sitting room, and outdoor patio near the swimming pool. It has a 9 hole grass putting course as well.

Definite must on our list for next year as well. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great Falls KOA, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Old KOA. People very friendly and helpful. Our site was very tight for our motorhome. Could not put out awning because of trees. Sites are secluded. We had to unhook before going to site even though a pull-through. We camped at Great Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground. Level sites with many pull-through sites. Satellite worked well. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Convenient to Yellowstone. The evening bonfires are nice. You get a chance to meet others. There are no fire rings at individual site. Ice cream social on Sunday night is good. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.
