Lake Lincoln State Park, Wesson, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here to get away from Hurricane Nate. The park itself is pretty, the beach is nice and clean. That's the only nice I have to say about it. The gate attendant was beyond rude and the bathroom and showers at our loop were filthy. I guess they cater to the lakeside campsites. They don't really have sites for rigs longer than 35 but the website will reserve anyway. We asked for a bigger site upon seeing our original one and the attendant was beyond rude. I understand rules but are also rules for having manners also in a public service setting. Won't be back! We camped at Lake Lincoln State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Haven Campground, Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I are staying here in our 38-foot fifth wheel. We are on our way further north this was a good stopping place. This is a nice family campground. Easy in-and-out from the interstate. Not bad $ about average. Our space is a little narrow but it worked. Lanes are also a bit narrow and you have to climb for the other sites. Gravel lanes but well packed. They offer free shuttle into Freeport which is really nice. Laundry and shower facilities are well kept. I'd give a five but a lot of road noise. We camped at Cedar Haven Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Branch Brook Campground, Thomaston, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

A very accommodating RV Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had a spot. Fairly easy to get to from the interstate. We had a back in which was easy to get to with a small patio on the side and picnic table. Very clean quiet little Park. Base price is $48 a night. But if you run your air conditioner it's $3 add a extra and table is $2 a day extra. It was worth it to have a nice quiet day. We camped at Branch Brook Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA, Natural Bridge, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Steep narrow gravel lanes. Have to be very careful going in and out. It's a beautiful setting and a beautiful Park. Just take care if you have a large rig. Kind of pricey in my opinion. These were not concrete pads although you did have full hookups. And not level. It was quiet for the most part until a family with four kids came in next door to us. But it's a family park this is where you need to go to take your kids if you want to go to Virginia and be in the woods. We camped at Natural Bridge / Lexington KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tennessee Country Campground and RV Park, Niota, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Narrow steep gravel lanes. Remember that if you're pulling a large towable. Mostly long term older rv's. Not an easy task to get out of. Dogs barking and our pad was so narrow our steps hung over just a couple of feet from a drop off. Then dealt with a muddy red mess on the other side. Ok for a quick overnight if you need hookups. We camped at Tennessee Country Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

River Cities RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This will be perfect as a base or overnight although I do think it's a little expensive. Gated facility which is great, concrete level sited and spotlessly clean but NO trees. No shade is why I gave it 9 instead of 10. We camped at River Cities RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yosemite Westlake Campground & RV Park, Coulterville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 nights and was planning 3 but we were so uncomfortable we cut it short. Just the road getting to the park was no fun! I would not recommend this park for trailers or fivers over 35' and definitely no large motorhomes.

Ask for 50 amp if needed but I think that there's only 2. Walk all the sites because ours was sooooo unlevel it was scary.

Low clearance so ask for help there also. Entrance road is a nightmare. They really need to make improvements and hopefully they will. One a good note...staff was helpful and friendly. We camped at Yosemite Westlake Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
