Sites very small and close together. Full of dog droppings. Staff clueless. Advised staff on resvervation how long my unit was and was told they had sites big enough..No way!! Pull thru barely fit my 27 TT.Hooks up mid site bring 2 water hoses and and extension cord. Site next door was 2ft away. Staff gave me wrong spot number and directed to another site down a road we could not fit. Not clean and poorly run. We camped at Richmond North / Kings Dominion KOA (formerly King's Dominion Campgrou in a Travel Trailer.

Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean place. Staff helpful..except the young girl at the check in desk. Unfriendly and acts like you are interrupting her. Ocean front site are SMALL your neighbors sewer hook up will be 10 feet from your front door. Can't blame them for trying to get the most for their money. Ocean sites are far from level as this place shows wear and tear bring plenty of boards to level out very soft sand. Would go back again beach was clean. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Buena Vista Recreation Destination , Buena, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I've been camping at this location for 5 years..This year was the worst ever. Went for Mem Day weekend as I always do. Paid full price..however the place was a disaster. Bathrooms over flowing and faulty Pool closed and broken down Kiddie rides closed and broken down Carnival games closed and broken down. Wires hanging down from the utility poles It was like the Mgt and employees had no clue... Things like... The Grass in my site was knee high, picnic tables were not out (the finally got them to all site by the end of Memorial day, Fire rings were not out. again were out by the end of Monday. It's not like Memorial day weekend snuck up on them! I gave them the benefit of the doubt before I posted this review...Called their corp headquarters twices sent 3 emails no response they don't care. Hate to say but after camping here for 5 + years the best advise would be to avoid this place like the plague!! We camped at Buena Vista Recreation Destination in a Motorhome.

Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Over all nice clean place..Beach nice staff ok. Lacking security and rules enforcement. Drunk kid and parents every night driving around in golf carts. One group hit my truck and tried to run. By ALL MEANS don't take an ocean front site on Pirateland Dr. It's like camping on I95 drunk drivers on golf carts all night long. Any other road in the campground would be fine. We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
