Winnsboro RV Park, Winnsboro, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a city owned park -- You have to go to the police station to check in, witch is about a mile away -- There is no signage in the park informing you where to go -- All the power boxes & water has a lock on them -- You will be given a key at the police station to unlock the services at your space, & upon leaving you return the key to the police station -- The spaces are all back ins -- They are paved & well spaced -- Power & water are good -- I would have given this park a 9 rating, if not for the high price & so far to go to check in -- We camped at Winnsboro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Three Oaks and a Pine, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our space was a back-in, but plenty of room to do that -- The spaces are wide with good power water --Owners are super nice --The park is about 5 miles from downtown, but it`s an easy trip getting there by car -- The park is just east of I-10 freeway, & a very good parking lot is next to I-10 in the city -- No need paying a big price for a RV space in town - We have a 42' motorhome & was towing -- Our $30.00 rent was a Passport fee -- We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Motorhome.

Southern Star RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park use to be Eagle's Nest, but closed 2 years ago -- The new owner is a RV' er & has only had it a month when we stayed there -- He & his wife are working hard to get it back in shape , after 2 years of neglect -- The spaces are pull thrus, & level -- No over hanging limbs, & wide roads -- I would have rated it higher, but still some work needed to be done -- We would sure stay here again -- It is a Pass Port America park -- We camped at Southern Star RV Park in a Motorhome.
