Hart State Park, Hartwell, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed on a waterfront site. It was nice but don't recommend during colder weather due to the wind coming off the lake - made the site very chilly. Nice hiking trails and non-waterfront sites are wooded. 5 sites located together on a dead end have full hookups (Elec./Water/Sewer) We camped at Hart State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Hard Labor Creek State Park, Rutledge, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Although the sites were fairly nice size, we felt the park had not been taken care of. There was no soap in the bathrooms. They had a water pipe problem and some of the sites were getting brown water. The worst part was the ticks. They were everywhere - at the site and on the trail. Hundreds of seed ticks crawled on my husband several times. We cut the trip short due to the ticks. We camped at Hard Labor Creek State Park in a Tent Trailer.
