Petoskey KOA, Petoskey, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Awesome campground. Paved pads, cement patios, level. Grounds are very well taken care of. Cable and WiFi worked perfectly. This alone is impressive because we haven't had good cable or WiFi in other parks. Showers are individual and private. I was talking to a local who brings her family camping here even though they live nearby. Campground is located close to town. I have no complaints! Very pretty campground and they have lots of ammenities including a hot tub! We camped at Petoskey KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Park was in a very good location near town. Site was gravel but not very level. Most other sites looked to be level. Decent distance to next campsite. Site was too short and had to move picnic table so we could park on the grass. Pulling out of our site was a very sharp turn because we were at the end of a row. We had to back up several times to make the turn. Cable TV was poor to not usable. WiFi was slow but OK, except when park was full and then we couldn't connect at all. The site had 3 piles of dog poop when we pulled in. We had to clean it up first thing because it was in the path to the camper door. We camped at Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Jack Pine Lodge Campground, Manistique, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are level and well spaced. Sites are gravel. Very peaceful campground. WiFi was not working when we were there because they were putting in a new system. Restaurant on site was excellent. I had whitefish and a salad. Both were very fresh. Cute atmosphere. Only complaint is that laundry had no seating, no place to hang clothes and the inside of the dryer wasn't clean. I had to wipe down the inside of the dryer door. We camped at Jack Pine Lodge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Scheffel's Hideaway Campground, Two Rivers, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

They had a good selection of campsites that were wooded or sunny. There was a decent amount of space between campsites. Sites were gravel and level with a nice picnic table area and fire pit. Park was very clean. Everything is perfectly maintained. Owners were very sweet and have lots of plans to enhance the campground. Very nice place. We camped at Scheffel's Hideaway Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wisconsin Dells KOA, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was a pull thru with plenty of length for our tow vehicle. Site was level gravel with cement patio for the picnic table. Site had two sewer hookups so you could position camper to the front or back of the site and have easy reach for sewer hose. We did have low water pressure and when park was full, slow internet. We liked being close to downtown but not in the middle of town so it was quiet. Campground is close to a train track but not too loud. We camped at Wisconsin Dells KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cute campground. Level sites. Gravel pad with lots of grass that was neatly mowed. Sites were a little close though. Park personnel was very nice and helpful. Laundry was clean and a comfortable space to sit. Cable was a little fuzzy. We camped at LaSalle / Peru KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

South Sandusky Campground COE, Benton, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were in site 170. It had full hookups including sewer. The site was fairly level with a large area for the picnic table. A lot of sites had extra parking spaces. The park was very quiet and peaceful. Campground is kept clean. Great spacing between sites with views of the woods and lake. We camped at South Sandusky Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Wildwood State Park, Wading River, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The park was nice. There are very few (parks) in the area. The park was very large and sites were pretty well spaced. There was a lot of litter on the ground. Also, in the tent area, people had music playing really loudly. I liked the park but did not like the lack of campground etiquette. I also had trouble with kids playing in the restroom, both boys and girls in the ladies room with no adult present. 30 amp service (no 50 amp). You have to provide your own fire ring and it has to be off the ground. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fransted Family Campground, Franconia, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely gorgeous campground! Sites are well spaced and you can get wooded or open campsites. The tent area was nicer than most state parks. The shower rooms are individual and private. The wifi was inconsistent and the cable wasn't really clear on all channels but to me those are minor compared to how pretty the park is. They clean each site before the next camper arrives. I would definitely come here again. We camped at Fransted Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resorts, Bagley, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was empty during week but crowded during weekend. Lots of large groups that came to party. Our site was on a slight grassy hill. We had trouble getting in site and hooking up to leave because the tires could not get traction and we ended up spinning tires. Our site was pretty close to the next site and the campfire ring was too close to the camper to use. The train track was close to the campground, very busy and trains blew their horn 4 times each - day and night. We visited Stonefield, which is a great place to see. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resorts in a Fifth Wheel.

Wisconsin Dells KOA, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park was very well maintained. Trash picked up at site almost as quick as you put it out. Site was level and park was quiet even when it was packed for the weekend. Park was located within a couple of miles of downtown Wisconsin Dells which made it very convenient to see the town. We camped at Wisconsin Dells KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
