Overall Rating:

Stayed here a couple of nights while visiting friends in the area. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Park could use a little TLC. Verizon was good and we got satellite reception. We camped at Eagle Resorts RV Park in a Motorhome.

Myakka River State Park, Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Our favorite FL state park so far. Huge park, miles of gorgeous trails, lots of wildlife, lots of gators and quiet. We stayed in Palmetto Ridge. Every pull through site is large enough for the longest rig and tow, as are most of the back in sites. We were in a back-in site this time and had plenty of room. Excellent Verizon and satellite reception. There is a short canopy walk which we enjoyed. We camped at Myakka River State Park in a Motorhome.

A+ RV Park, Alvord, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Got a pull through with good satellite reception. Good Verizon signal. Everything is neat and clean and the CG is carefully attended to by the owner. The owner also gave us good directions around construction in the area. The restrooms are spotlessly clean. But only one person at a time. The laundry is in the restrooms. Laundry is free to paying guests. Pets are okay and plenty of room to walk them. Was going to stay one night, but enjoyed our stay enough to extend it one more night. We camped at A+ RV Park in a Motorhome.

Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W', Chattahoochee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Well maintained in a quiet wooded setting. Far enough from the interstate so no traffic noise. Very very friendly & helpful staff, office has a small store. Our pull-through was clear enough for satellite reception. This was an overnight for us and we would stay here again. We camped at Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W' in a Motorhome.

Miss Ellie's RV Park, Waskom, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night on our way SE. Park is easy to navigate. Nice long gravel site. Easy on and off I-20. Close to highway, but noise was not a problem. Manager Very helpful. This is a small park so call ahead. Watch the signs when you enter. We would stay here again. We camped at Miss Ellie's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cadillac Ranch RV Park (formerly Amarillo West View RV Park), Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place for an overnight. The campground is level on gravel. We barely fit in w/o unhooking our toad. Sites are close together, park was not crowded, but we had neighbors. Hookups all worked OK. Seems to be a well managed park. We would stay here again. We camped at Cadillac Ranch RV Park (formerly Amarillo West View RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Blue Spruce RV Park, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The owner/manager was very friendly. The park is old, but the power and cable were good. Did not use the Wifi, but had a strong Verizon signal. Pull-through sites are small and tight, but easy on and off from the expressway. Manager was friendly and helpful. No sewer hook up, but had a dump station. You could get 30 amp for $19. Overall not a bad place to overnight. We camped at Blue Spruce RV Park in a Motorhome.

Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The staff were very friendly, and the site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our car. It's actually two sites back to back. The park had a lot of annuals, but it was still quiet. It was easy access to the interstate. There is a Steak House and Saloon on site. This was an overnight stop. Would stay here again as an overnight stop. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boyd Lake State Park, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The nightly fee was $24 plus $8 per day use fee. If you going to be there longer than 10 days it would be better to buy a buy a yearly pass for $80. No water or sewer at the sites, but there are several water spigots on each loop that you can park at and fill up your tanks, or if you have enough hose you could fill without leaving your site. There is a dump station. Lots to do, hiking, biking, boating, many cities to visit near by and RMNP. We camped at Boyd Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Pine Grove Village MH & RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Owners nice on the phone, but it's a good thing we called ahead they closed at 4 pm. Our site was gravel with concrete pads for the RV tires. Our tires fit the concrete one side or the other, but not both and our levelers landed the same. The place was nice enough, but mostly empty, so why would they put the only two overnighters side by side? Water hookup was underground, and our water connection was against the the sewer. Problem is if the sewer overflows it flows into the water outlet. We used our on-board water and didn't hook up sewer. Getting to and from the park from I-70 was easy. Our toad would't fit on the site without unhooking. To be fair there were many sites that were acceptable and empty, so again why put us on a poor site. Wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove Village MH & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here several times in the Magnolia Loop as an overnight on our travels east and west. Roads are tight with lots of tree over hang. It's about 10 to 12 miles off of I-75. Our site was well kept. We camped at O'Leno State Park in a Motorhome.

Old Stone Fort State Park, Manchester, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here for an overnight. The campground is a series of tight loops in a heavily wooded area. The sites are too small and barely fit MH and toad. Would stay here again if nothing else was available. Have to cross a bridge (just wide enough and tall enough for my MH) to get in or out. We camped at Old Stone Fort State Park in a Motorhome.
