Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground), Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a perfect park for overnight traveling as it's easy on and off to I-80. The hosts/owners are extremely friendly and they accepted my Passport America without any blackout dates. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Call ahead for accurate rates! We'd planned for a two day stay in Glenwood Springs on the way home, based on their Website's quoted Off Season rate of $40.00. The price upon check in was actually $63.80. Also be prepared to pay $5.00 per dog, as is stated on their website. Although stated, it is a very unusual extra nightly cost. Their off season rate had been changed to peak season about a month ago, according to the front desk employee. This isn't peak season anywhere in the mountains of Colorado and there are very few guests. This is false advertisement. Their sites are not set up to be user friendly as their water and septic are at the front of the site, while the electric is in the back. Overall extremely dismayed at paying 72.39 per night for parking in a gravel parking lot, and that's with a 10% Good Sam discount. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Bearmouth Chalet RV Park , Clinton, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park under new ownership. The new owner is working hard to make improvements and has many ideas about future improvements. It sounds like there will be wifi and propane available for the 2015 camping season. I would recommend this as a peaceful stop with easy on and off I90 We camped at Bearmouth Chalet RV Park in a Motorhome.
