Overall Rating:

Campground is on top of hill with very beautiful views of Pierre. Just keep driving and campground on the right. Owners are very friendly and helpful. No dog park but field to walk dog. No bathrooms, showers, or laundry. New sites and facilities are under construction to be open soon. No trouble with our satellite. Site 18 has the best view in the campground. We camped at River View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Showers and laundry were good. Wifi was excellent at our site close to west tower. Dog park was good. Swimming pool was good for cooling off. No trouble using our satellite. Convenient to I94. We camped at Bismarck KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Showers and laundry were good. Wifi was very strong at our campsite. No dog park but at least a two mile trail around the campground to walk dog. Bags and trash can were provided. Book exchange in the office. A negative was the mile dusty gravel road into the campground. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart is five minutes drive. Jamestown is a small town 6 miles away. Not much to do in the area but very convenient on and off to I94.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy access to interstate thus convenient for short stay. No dog park but field to walk dog. Wifi was only available at hotel. Hotel indoor park was free for one day to campground and open to the public. No problem using our satellite. Showers were okay but was in the hotel. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on and off access to main road. No dog park but large field to walk dog. Showers were fine just old. Laundry was good. No problem with our satellite. Wifi was okay some of the time. SIte 10 was fine but neighboring site was very close. Their awning was over our camper. We camped at St. Cloud Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart was 5 miles. St Cloud didn't have anything to do. The shopping and restaurants were in neighboring towns all within 20 miles.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Laundry and showers were good. Wifi was only available at the office/shower building but was very fast. No dog park but large grassy field that was great for walking dog. Too bad this great campground is closing at the end of the season. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart and shopping was 2 miles. St Paul was 6 miles and very pretty capital. Harriett Island is one of the best places to take picture of the skyline. Minneapolis was 20 miles and pretty city. Stone Arch Bridge is one of the best places to take picture of the skyline. Mall of America is 30 minutes and a very interesting mall which has an amusement park and aquarium. Minnehaha Falls is 20 minutes very pretty and worth a visit. Midtown Global Market is 20 minutes and not worth a visit.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Showers and laundry were good. Wi-if was good most of the time. Dog park was good and bags were provided. Grass needed to be mowed inside and around the dog park. No problem with our satellite after we moved to another site. Did not use the pool. We camped at Rochester / Marion KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart and shopping was about 2 miles. Easy to get to Rochester which was 8 miles. Mayo Hospital was huge and all over the city. The free subway and skyway was a great place to get around especially during winter. Lot of campers used this campground to go to the Mayo Hospital.

Big rig friendly and huge campground. Our site was level but most were on hills. Checked in and just picked a site in section C. Showers were old but clean and plenty of hot water. No laundry, cable, or wifi. No trouble using our satellite. No dog park but lots of fields to walk dog. We camped at Iowa State Fairgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Level sites but directions to the campground were very confusing. GPS kept telling us to go down dead end roads. No dog park and very little grass to walk dog. Bathroom was clean but very old. Big rig friendly with level sites but campground was hilly. Road into and inside campground needed work. Site had a good view of river. Showers were clean but old. Did not use laundry. No cable but no problem using our satellite. Wifi was weak but worked most of the time. No dog park but could walk dog on dead end road leaving campground. We camped at Mari-Osa-Delta in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart was less than 10 minutes. All of the area attractions including shows, restaurants, museums, historic downtown, and shopping were within few miles from campground. We went to three shows and all were great.

Big rig friendly with level sites. The one women's shower and one men's shower had hot water. Did not use the laundry room. No dog park but bags were provided in dog walk area. No cable but did have not a problem using our satellite. Our site was on the Arkansas River with a great view of the city skyline and the nightly light show on two bridges. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
