Buckskin Mountain State Park, Parker, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is everything that a State Park should be. Only problem is that the water taste funny. Buy bottle water and use that for your coffee, will taste much better. Other than that this is one great park. We camped at Buckskin Mountain State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Arizonian RV Resort, Gold Canyon, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a ATV park. This park has rules but the management does not care about the rules. People can do whatever they want, and the management will let them. If you complain to the management nothing gets done. The two lady's that work in the office should not be doing that job. There are not 700 lots neither. We have been coming here for years but this time has been the worse yet. ATV are driving around at all hours of the day and night, and some are really noisy, even though they are supposed to be inspected by the office. We camped at Arizonian RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tombstone RV Park and Campground, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

New owner as of Sept last year and during that time he has put a lot of money and work into getting this campground looking super. Check in was easy and after somebody takes you to your lot to help you get settled. They also have a shuttle service that will take you to Tombstone and pick you up for free. Everybody we talked to was really helpful and pleasant. We did have a problem with the electric but our electric cord reached over to the next lot and we plugged in. We payed for six nights and got the seventh free; the electric was free for the week. We liked it so much that we have already made reservations for next May and possible Feb of next year. They have a good size dog run also. The Park is close to the road but the motorcycles were the only things that were really loud. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you go go to Tombstone and visit the shops. Try Big Nose Kates onion rings, they are good. Some of the stores are expensive but they sell really nice stuff.

Lost Dutchman State Park, Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Been coming here for years. Some of the nicest people we have ever met. Sites are clean, level, and looking at the Superstition Mountains are just great. The town of Gold field is within site and people may not like the train whistle that they blow when the train pulls out of the station but it doesn't bother us. Will stay here again We camped at Lost Dutchman State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Payson Campground & RV Resort, Payson, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 months. Lots of Dog poop all around the park. Lots were not cleaned up after people left and the next people had to put up with the garbage. When checking in was taken to the lot and told by the lady you are on your own I don't help. Around in the back side it could be hard to back in on your own with out help. The lot we had washed away after every rain storm and trying to get it fixed was useless. Will not go back until things get fixed. We camped at Payson Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
