Granite Hill Campground & Adventure Golf, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here multiple times. As always, the campground and staff met our expectations. The only issue would be the lack of wi-fi at our site, but that was not a big problem for us. We enjoyed our extended stay and will definitely return in the fall. We camped at Granite Hill Campground & Adventure Golf in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This was our first time here. Campground was nice. There are only a few sites available for short term rentals. The staff was friendly and professional. The campground is small, but I didn't have any issues getting my 30 ft RV to and into the site. We will be camping here again. We camped at Hemlock Campground & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Blue Rocks Family Campground, Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here. They have an on-staff security officer who drove around the campground. Although, there didn't seem to be a need for him to drive around, it was comforting to see him. The campground was well maintained and the owners take pride in it. We especially enjoyed the ice cream shop. The couple that worked there was very friendly. We took a hike to the top of the mountain. The view was amazing, but we were not prepared for how hard it was. I think that there should have been more information on how difficult the trails were. We camped at Blue Rocks Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Tall Pines, Elmer, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Everyone was very friendly. This is a very well run campground. Our only complaint would be that the showers in the bathrooms got very dirty and didn't drain well. The staff tried to accommodate for this by cleaning multiple times a day. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Tall Pines in a Travel Trailer.

Otter Lake Camp Resort, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

We had a good time here. When walking around it seemed like there were many campers, but there was no excessive noise. Our site was large and shaded. We were a couple of "roads" away from the outdoor pool. The only issue we had was when we were at the indoor pool. We wanted to use the whirlpool, but there were kids in the "Adults Only" whirlpool. There wasn't much I could say without sarcastically asking if the parents could read. I got irritated when I realized that there was a campground employee in the pool area that was ignoring the fact that there were kids in the whirlpool. We ended up getting some time in the whirlpool so I'm including this as an observation because overall we had a great time. We will definitely be back. We camped at Otter Lake Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our time at this campground. We took advantage of the the evening family movies, but little else since we did multiple day trips to see historic Gettysburg. The employees were all very friendly. The sites here are a little narrow, but not cramped. We had site # 41 which was very convenient to the bathhouse, but a light that was shining right into our site. We like to sit by the fire so the campfire "atmosphere" was non-existant. The other sites were not affected by the light, so just ask not to be put in site 41. We will definitely be back. We camped at Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tohickon Family Campground, Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here with another family. We had a good time. The staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. The sites were a nice size and we didn't feel crowded. Our only minor issue was that our site was mostly dirt. Some of the other full hookup sites had gravel and grass. We'll be requesting one of those the next time out. Seemed like the non-hookup sites were mostly grass. We will be back again. We camped at Tohickon Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
