Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a dusty, dirty ghetto. I am currently overlooking a "junk yard" - junk cars, a fire engine and RVs. I cannot believe this place has a GS rating of 9!!! Junked up full time resident trailers everywhere. If your RV is clean, DON'T stop here, it will need washing again. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whitefish Hill RV Park & Campground, Rapid River, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a dump and is probably out of business. We pulled in, no one around. No water hookup, cable TV wires were cutoff. Over grown with trees, we left and did not stay. Don't waste your time, I think it's defunct. We camped at Whitefish Hill RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Petoskey Motorcoach Resort (formerly Petoskey RV Resort ), Bay Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Not impressed for the price. To close to highway 31 with a lot of traffic noise. Leash law not enforced. Sixteen nightly rental park models with people coming and going at all hours paying no attention to park rules. Nice grounds and sites, but not worth the price for what you get. Trees in the way of satellite reception. I don't understand the high rating for this park, we will not return. We camped at Petoskey Motorcoach Resort (formerly Petoskey RV Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Kamp Klamath RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoy rustic camping, but with our 45 ft motor home, not many campgrounds can take us. The owner and staff at Kamp Klamath went out of their way to make sure we would fit...and fit we did! A one week stay turned into 2 weeks. The Sat. night Salmon BBQ was so outstanding we had to stay for the next one. There is so much to see and do in the area along with outstanding fishing and beautiful rivers, Kamp Klamath is hard to beat. Can't wait to return. We camped at Kamp Klamath RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagle's Roost RV Resort, Lake Park, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

How this park gets high rating outside of it has large trees is beyond me. The large oaks are beautiful, but not big rig friendly. This is an old park with narrow, level concrete pads, but it ends there. The patio is sand, grass doesn't grow under trees. The I-75 noise is terrible! One of the worst we have experienced. No water when we checked in and no discount for lack of service. No cable and no satellite sites. Not much but trees and noise. We will not be back. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Peach Queen Campground, Jemison, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Older KOA, so small space, but large open areas for walking dogs or kids. Clean park with weekend activities for local camper. Good over night stop with fuel/gas coming in or leaving, easy in and out. Some hwy noise, but not bad. Sewer would have taken two lengths to reach our MH so we skipped using the sewer connection.

Sites are grass and level. We camped at Peach Queen Campground in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

If you do not have a river front site, the remainder of the park is very red neck. Loud music playing, barking dogs, it sounds like a dog pound. Wifi cuts in and out and is worthless. Many permanent residents with run down units. Why this park has such high rating is beyond me, it must be the cheap price. The spaces are close together except the river front site which were all booked. If this was a a PA park I could understand it, but don't believe the reviews, it is not even close to an 8.7 park. We booked 5 days because of the reviews, we will probably leave early, it's that bad. We were stuck in the "monthly section". We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Heyburn Riverside RV Park, Heyburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Unbelievable City Park with large sites, 2 miles off of I-84. Gravel parking, but large concrete patios and tables next to the steps of your rig. Large grass areas between sites. Level site with extra vehicle parking space. Nice park and view on the Snake River. Lots of grass for walking the dogs, paved walking path along the river for taking evening walks. It is so clean and a nice location we are staying an extra day from what was going to be an overnight stop. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Biggest ripoff in 25 years of RV'ing. There is no wi-fi unless you go to the bar (buy drinks). Spotty cell service, dusty and dirty. Not big rig friendly as advertised, water and sewer are at the front of your site on the road!

In addition to $58. per night add $5.00 for each person over 2 including kids and $5. for each pet, but no pet walking area. There is no grass anywhere. The only thing truthful about their web site is the high prices, but there is no value for the price. We would never be back. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Motorhome.

Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Not our kind of park for $60 a night. Shared utilities, neighbors picnic table in small shared yard. Sites are as tight as a sardine can. Road are full of pot holes and roughly filled. It's the only game in metro Denver, but it is one we won't play anymore. We won't be back. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice older park, clean but sites are very narrow and close together. Hookup are at the very rear of the site, so extensions are needed if you are a big rig towing. Not very convenient for a quick overnight stay. We camped at Jennings Outdoor Resort Trav-L-Park in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor Campground, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

I guess I am different from the other reviews. We found this GC old and outdated. No Cable, too many trees for Satellite, only 4 OTA stations 60 miles away and more bugs than I care to deal with. Sites were not very level and it took some work to level. Our site was mostly dirt and NOT worth $44.00 a night. We left the next day for an ocean view site at a different park for half the price and twice the amenities. This would not be my choice again for Bar Harbor or Acadia Park. We camped at Bar Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Moose River Campground, St Johnsbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is what we look for when travel, a perfect park, river front campsites and close to plenty of attractions. Nice "green" grass for walking the dog. Beautiful falls colors also a big plus. I cannot believe GS only gives this park a 7 rating. We left park to come here that GS rated a 7.5 and it was a 4. Moose River is a 10 in my book. We paid for a premium site which included a paved patio, table and padded chairs, firewood and morning paper. The park is spotless with seasonal decorations everywhere. Seasonal locals come over to welcome you upon your arrival and really make you feel welcome. A tour package is given upon your arrival that will keep you busy for days. We will be extending. We camped at Moose River Campground in a Motorhome.

Timberland Campground, Shelburne, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

New owners (nice people) have owned the park 3 years, but have done NOTHING to upgrade. They did change the name, but have not changed the sign on the highway, so it is very confusing to find. This park has not seen a load of gravel in 30 years, most of it is washed out leaving un-level sites. Cable has three poor quality channels and too many tree for satellite. Bring lots of bug spray, they are terrible. How Good Sams can give this park a 7.5 rating is beyond me. We stayed one night and left. We camped at Timberland Campground in a Motorhome.
