Nice older park, clean but sites are very narrow and close together. Hookup are at the very rear of the site, so extensions are needed if you are a big rig towing. Not very convenient for a quick overnight stay.

I guess I am different from the other reviews. We found this GC old and outdated. No Cable, too many trees for Satellite, only 4 OTA stations 60 miles away and more bugs than I care to deal with. Sites were not very level and it took some work to level. Our site was mostly dirt and NOT worth $44.00 a night. We left the next day for an ocean view site at a different park for half the price and twice the amenities. This would not be my choice again for Bar Harbor or Acadia Park.

This is what we look for when travel, a perfect park, river front campsites and close to plenty of attractions. Nice "green" grass for walking the dog. Beautiful falls colors also a big plus. I cannot believe GS only gives this park a 7 rating. We left park to come here that GS rated a 7.5 and it was a 4. Moose River is a 10 in my book. We paid for a premium site which included a paved patio, table and padded chairs, firewood and morning paper. The park is spotless with seasonal decorations everywhere. Seasonal locals come over to welcome you upon your arrival and really make you feel welcome. A tour package is given upon your arrival that will keep you busy for days. We will be extending.

New owners (nice people) have owned the park 3 years, but have done NOTHING to upgrade. They did change the name, but have not changed the sign on the highway, so it is very confusing to find. This park has not seen a load of gravel in 30 years, most of it is washed out leaving un-level sites. Cable has three poor quality channels and too many tree for satellite. Bring lots of bug spray, they are terrible. How Good Sams can give this park a 7.5 rating is beyond me. We stayed one night and left.

Very nice owners, but a very small and tight park. The sights are so close together you can hear your neighbors talking inside of their RV's. Salisbury Beach is Filth with many tourist businesses boarded up. We wound up going into New Hampshire to beautiful, clean beaches. The nice owners cannot make the park larger or clean up Salisbury Beach. I would not stay here again.

It is a perfect as everybody says it is. If wasn't so expensive I would have rated it a 10, but when you are the only game it town, you set your own price. The park itself is a 10. Easy day trip to Baltimore as well.

South Forty explains how far the hookups are from your rig. If you intend to stay here (I wouldn't) be ready for extensions for your hookups. There is an EXTRA charge for EACH hookup you will require. Wi-Fi is ONLY available in the office and not at the camp sites. This is an old, defunct KOA and no improvements have been made except the rating in the Good Sam's directory. I would pass on this one.

Date of Stay:

Old run down KOA very neglected. Dirt sites and muddy dirt roads. No Wi-Fi and air card would not work in this area. Very buggy, mosquitoes are huge biting right through clothing! If you do stay here request one of the sites in back, they are saved for snowbirds and do have some grass. One night was enough for us.

This is an absolute perfect park in every way. Unbelievable resort that you would expect to pay $65. per night. Level, large concrete pads on all sites, patio tables and grills at each site. 15 minutes to Jekyll Island, 20 minutes to St Simon Island. What a gem this park is. We stopped for a day and spent 3, hated to leave. We will be back! There is nothing to complain about on this park, it is perfect! What a gem!

NOT big rig friendly! Ugly old park, dirty, run down. Looks like a bank repo. It was so bad we left and went to nearby State Park, glad we did. Pass this one by.

Date of Stay:

It's an OK park, but the sites are way too close together for our liking, much like a refugee camp. It is also very buggy, for what they charge you would think they could spray once in awhile. However it is the only park in Tybee Island so they can do what they want and charge what they want. The restroom is a portable trailer and has been expanded with port-a-potties. Not what you would call first class. Bring lots of dollar bills, there is no free parking on Tybee Island. Parking meters are everywhere even in front of some of the restaurants. It is 15 miles to Savannah with a couple of nice restaurants in between. Nice location, but I wouldn't come back.

This park is a long way from what I would call a Resort. Dirt streets, sand lot sites, no water front as stated in the ad, the beach is across the highway, no Wi-Fi. No grass area for pets. Heavily wooded making the sites very dark and gloomy. Not even close to being worth the price they charge. It is raining and the sand is sticking to everything and splashing up on the motor home. I would pass on this one.

Fantastic park with so many activities. Transportation is a must as the park is so large. Large spacious packed gravel sites. Park is well maintained, restrooms were pressure washed twice during our 4 day stay. Nice swimming beach across the inlet. The park has won the "Top in FL State Parks" 2 years an a row and the award is well deserved. One caution, the bugs were BAD. Bring Avon Skin So Soft for the no-see-em's and bug spray for mosquitoes. An outdoor fan to keep the bugs away is almost a must as well. Overlook the bugs and it is a perfect park.

Super large sites! Nicely laid out with ample room between sites, one of the nicest layouts we have seen for a State Park. Perfectly level packed crushed gravel sites with huge patio and fire ring area. Lots of grass between sites. The park is only a year and a half old, the bathrooms are like new. Newly planted trees so there is no shade. Close to Jupiter with fantastic beaches and restaurants. Florida Seniors receive 1/2 off. If it had mature trees, this park would be a 10.

Not worth the price they charge. Office help was new to the area and didn't know where anything was. Some sites have been upgraded, but they have not bothered to connect the cable, but still charge full price. Many old seasonal trailers that are parked here full time, park looks like a storage yard. Only a few paved sites, the rest are dirt or some grass. Our site was infested with fire ants. This is an old, starting to look tacky park. We drove out to Sebastian SP and Long Point County park just down the road, both were three times nicer, on the water with plenty of activities.
